I have the best memories of those carefree summers in Serbia. As soon as the school year ends, we gather on the Štrand and spend the whole day there, almost all our peers, all the children from the street, young couples, neighbors from the surrounding areas - the whole town moves to the Štrand. And the summer days are long and never seem to end. There is nothing more beautiful than long summer evening walks, conversations, jokes, smiles, going out and socializing. At least that's how it was in my youth. Now I'm older, so in the summer I go out into nature as soon as I wake up. I order a cold lemonade with ice or a Jaeger and tonic, and slowly absorb the freshness of the new morning. But I return home before ten or eleven o'clock, much before the temperature start to rise up.

Sounds like you’ve made a lot of beautiful memories, but also having a blast now! We also like to go out early or late and hide in the shadows when the sun is most aggressive 🫠

Plane is not renovated but removed until they finish construction of 3 new skyscrapers where that plane was standing, they will return it when it's done. You were unlucky since they removed it few days ago. I'm Serb from Belgrade, i can understand those things you like. As for harassing and similar things, we had a big problem for 3-4 years with immigrants from Middle East after Syrian War started (before you came), there were many incidents where groups of them would attack people or steal stuff, but all of them moved from Serbia. Lately beside Russians (who basically feel like locals now) we mostly have immigrant workers from Asia (construction, drivers) who are not problematic type so safety is at normal level again.

I would like to visit Belgrade but because of some allergies I would need organic food, do you know if organic food is available? Thank you.
@iamkseniia8 ай бұрын
Hi! Yes, you can find organic products in supermarkets like Idea and Maxi, the selection is not that great though + I’ve seen a couple of smaller shops with organic food, but can’t remember where it was exactly.

Those cat call things that you are talking about I think happens in mostly Latin speaking countries, but France recently prohibited it. This is all about upbringing.

Maybe! But I have a feeling it happens all around the world, sadly 😵💫

Srbi nisu izgubili dušu . Sama činjenica da svaku misao koju iznosiš preispituješ, ljudi su ok ali površno. Zašto bi ljudi bili duboko zli ako su površno ok ? Tipično zapadnjačko razmišljanje . Relax .
