Wow..such a powerful deck!Judging from her overall work and the themes...I have a feeling that card 13 talks about self-harming rather than stretch marks, but I may be wrong. I adore Amanda Lovelace poetry, I have 4 of her books and plan to collect them all. I am waiting patently waiting for my deck. You may also like Nikita Gill, Kat Lehmann, Alison Malee and Zack Grey as well, I can't recommend these authors enough. Nocturnal by wilder is amazing as well. The skin condition you were thinking of is Vitiligo. Its where pigment producing skin cells die or stop functioning resulting in a patch of discoloration. I literally was so moved by that card!

7:45 I started to laugh to myself when you pointed out the cup of tea etc. around her. I can NOT do a shoulder stand, so I was looking at it thinking, “oh that would be really nice“ but then I realized that if I DID manage to get myself into that position, I would probably crash down - burning myself, killing the plant, and breaking the crystals in the process. The girl in the card is way more talented than I am! 🤣

I own this deck (and just drew a card from it this morning in fact - Flower) but I recently came across your channel and really enjoy your walkthrough videos, especially for decks I already own haha! They give me some additional insight and perspective on the deck, and sometimes reignite that initial spark I felt when I first opened the box myself. Holy cow though, I started crying when you showed the Mirror card, not quite sure what's up with that!

I was so hoping you’d do a walkthrough of this one! I love love the art and concept. I was a little unsure because some of the keyword and phrase combos don’t make total sense to me. But it sounds like I just need to read her poetry collections to get more context! (Which I’ve been meaning to do anyway 😊)

I bought this deck and love love love the images! I just wish that several of the titles made more sense (e.g., Clover, Red, Castle, etc.). Perhaps they do in the context of her poetry, but since I don't have any of her books, I don't clearly make the connections and find the guidebook unhelpful 😕I would've preferred just the key phrases on their own! A beautiful deck all the same 💖

I totally see your point. Funny, I've just found myself kind of automatically not paying too much attention to the title and just rollin' with the key phrases, but agree that if the key phrases are where the 'meat' of the meaning is at, perhaps the titles really aren't needed. Another thing I realized is I wish that the guidebook referenced the poem title that inspired the card (unless that's what the card titles are... the title of the poem that inspired it?).
