There’s a difference between critical of yourself and putting yourself down. Being anxious is normal but letting it consume you leads to overthinking that leads to destructive thinking. I would say allow people’s belief in you be evidence that you are more than capable to do something. Listen to your doubts because those thoughts are still important, but don’t let it decide your entire decision making process nor let it disrupt your confidence.

I could also relate to this and somehow I at some point started believing that their beliefs are the ones holding me back coz it causes me so much pressure and anxiety. So I started to act different, in the sense I wanted to make them believe that I couldn't do it and make their belief in me disappear. But by doing so I went so far away from my dream and I failed in everything. but their belief in me never disappeared so now when I finally accept and try to focus on my dream and not on whether they believe or not, its so hard for me to move past the day be productive, all the things I thought was acting for them became a part of me and now I feel like I will not achieve my dream and overthink a lot. I feel so lost

I really appreciate it! I intended it to be ambiguous, but at the same time, pushing those watching to take that next step in their faith despite people who think they might be crazy. It can also be interpreted as believing in yourself when nobody else does, which is smth I did on purpose. And yes, I think it’s important to bring people to faith without forcing it upon them, otherwise it would be a violation of the very morals the faith stands for! :)

For someone turning 18, I would say that the best advice is to experience as much as you possibly can, and don’t go down a road that someone else wants you to go if you don’t agree with it or don’t think you will enjoy it. If you wanna do something make sure you love it, and if you try it for awhile and don’t like it, then try something different. The most important thing to know during these years is that you should never feel like you’re falling behind or losing time because your friends or peers are getting jobs, going to college, or getting into relationships. Because these things ARE going to happen, but it doesn’t mean that you should be at that same place as well. Everyone is on their own pace, on their own road. You may not find out what you like to do until you’re 70 yrs old, or you might find out when you’re 20. Again, the best thing is to experience as much as possible, and know that mistakes will happen. Acknowledge them, get better, and find a better path or approach. Don’t be afraid to make them, and especially don’t be afraid, to take your time🙏

One thing I got to say about me, I’m not bad at what I do but not good either I just can’t make my goddamn mind I always quit without even reaching what I want to. It’s so fucking hard to cope up with it, I’m an introvert my inner voice hurts me more than anyone could. Trust me being below average or totally above average is cool but being in between u just don’t know what the right track is. No matter how hard I study there is no improvement not even a bit. I agree there are bad times but seriously after failing for 15+ years there is not even one successful thing I have achieved I feel completely left out, i broke down so bad recently cried for 3 hours straight. I don’t have anyone who I can speak with,yes I don’t have friends I feel good but sometimes I feel u do need someone w to share the best and worst times w them, I really wish to be successful. Guess I’m born w bad luck I’ll have to deal with it the worst way possible. I wanna feel how it is to be successful there is no point crying but I’m really hopeless completely hopeless, feel like going to a huge ground scream the shit out I have so much to clear up one day I wish what ever I worked hard for comes of use. Hey, I just wanted to say that I’m proud of you, for all the hard work you’ve put in. I know I’ve never met you but from the way it sounds, nobody’s ever just told you that everything you’ve done so far is worth it,so I’m here to tell you that it is. Life maybe fogging up for you right now but to me the kind of person you are is someone I’m very familiar with, because I used to be that person. Yes, it’s good to be hard on yourself. Especially with how competitive we are, it’s what elevates us to new levels in whatever we do. I get that when progress or achievements aren’t directly measurable it can be super frustrating, demoralizing even. That when we can’t see any improvement after we’ve put in so much hard work, we stay stagnated at just this one level. But let me tell you right now, I truly believe that those are the moments that make us who we are no matter how corny that sounds. The fact that you cried over it, shows how much you care. Because I’ve done that for things I care about to. Things that I wanted to get good at but couldn’t seem to go to the next level no matter how much work I put in. So my advice is, put your head down and keep going. Don’t doubt yourself but if you ever do and you’re ever wondering if something is for you, please pray about it. Sometimes I just regret being born especially as a woman. It sucks, totally does. I was always told that only men don’t show emotion and only women do it’s controversial but I tried my best to hide tears from the rest. It hurt so bad cuz I never had anyone by me, some have crazy loving parents or boyfriends or bsfs and u know many people to depend on. I’m not saying my parents are bad, they buy me everything thing I would say that I’m spoilt I hv accepted it and I’m changing but what u realised is that I need my parents inner lover rather than outer. I don’t want them to buy me stuff and say why do u feel suicidal when I provide u what u want. Like no, u don’t. I’m really afraid to speak to my parents as an introvert the voices in my head terrify me I keep overthinking. My parents are cool but they find me with a guy friend they turn tables they say ur too young for having male friends like bro how tf man ;/. My mother always pampered my elder brother a hella lot she thought I could take care of myself. Did she never notice I was even sensitive than he was? I cry for the smallest things like I said I am controlling them now but yeah previously I cried my lungs off I was so worried. I felt my mother would forget me in no time, ngl she would bitter truth it is. Whenever I made friends my mother used to do things which broke it all up. I know she dint intend to do so but yeah, I ignored all of that. I cry all by myself I always dream having someone by me to share everything in my mind, I want to be free. How hard is life supposed to be for a teenager? Why me? Why not someone else? I’m not scared to end myself In fact I’m down bad, I’m just scared what impact I would make on my family. I don’t like sharing my so called friends these cuz I definitely think they gonna judge my family and that’s not what I’m asking for I just need someone to comfort, I hope u get it atleast. Just a warm hug and “I am there for u” is all I want I just want someone by me. I don’t know how long I can take this pain but I’d want to visit Japan it’s my dream to be there. Just one wish and I’ll be in peace. Ofcourse I want my parents to live happily with out any stress and they must that’s another wish there two Wishes it is. I don’t think my mental health matters to anyone including me. There’s a lot in my head I want yell it all out ps I think that one day is never gonna appear. I’m so sorry to waste ur time so listen to my bs but Thankyou so much if u read it till the end. Just Thankyou. Really interesting vid. It's kinda cryptic (at least to me) so I'm honestly not sure but, is this a description of having faith in Jesus despite being surrounded by those that don't? Or is it a description of having faith in humanity and life despite being surrounded by those that have exclusive faith in Jesus? Anyway it is very thought provoking and super aesthetic. For disclosure I am atheist but I think Christianity is a great thing that lifts the world up and I have a lot of love for Christians. And I feel love for (what I refer to as) God.
