They did release a VHS home video during the Sanity Obscure period that featured lots of live footage, behind-the-scenes stuff, and other goofy silly stuff. Here it is...somebody uploaded it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qpK5laZjjs53hNU

Believer is hands down one of the best metal bands from the early 90s by far.. and very underrated for that time as well.. they were wayyyyyy ahead of their time.. sanity obscure and dimensions are 2 of my all time favorite thrash metal albums ever.. they never get old.. great video btw.. Thanks for sharing.. Cheers from Cincinnati Ohio USA..

They are still around, at least as of a few years ago, recording music. I don't know if they are still actively doing it, but their most recent output was in 2017.

Are there more concerts or non released stuff about BELIEVER on the internet? I've been a fan since 1990 and I have all the albums. I´m watching this for the first time!!!
@metalheadedone4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I've been a fan since around that time, as well! I don't know of too much more about them on the net, but you can search around. There is one video here on KZbin of them doing a one-off set a couple of years ago of all old songs, and it's very good! Just search "Believer live Saint Vitus 2018" and it should come up...

This was the best lineup of Believer. Not to say that their newer stuff is terrible. It isn't. Just something about Dave Baddorf. His playing prowess + his stage presence is missed- in their later work. Poor Kurt- stop f'ing with the mans equipments!!! :D LOLz He's got a show to put on- come on now... Happy Independence Day everybody. -Jim (Monolith 1989, retired) 777>666 mathematically 444>666 spiritually

Yeah, I often wonder what ever happened to Dave. I've never heard or read any Believer interviews or articles that mention him or what he may be up to these days.

"Well we never wanted to be known as a Christian band for one [laughs]. It was one of these things where it got out of control. With promoting records it was one of those things where the record company was like “Hey, here’s a slant. Something different. Something new and unique. Let’s go for that”.
@metalheadedone3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the whole "Christian band" thing was never a good thing, in retrospect. It really hampered bands from being able to advance, get gigs, and ultimately sell albums.
