It's so great that there are music teachers out there encouraging kids to perform the music they love!

I was a music producer for over 10 years and didn't expect a high school band to pull that song off as well as you did. Very impressive. All of you kicked ass.

why is the bassist goin so ham during the solo dayum
@marcelgomesz9 ай бұрын
I don't mind if a bassist wants to have a louder sound in the mix - Geddy Lee and Steve Harris would be proud - but at 3:14 he basically outshines one of the greatest guitar solos of all time. The bassline isn't this way neither on studio or live versions. Improvisation is cool and it shows his creativity and skill, but he should be aware of the moments for the other members to shine.

I think it is extremely hard for a band to sound good in this kind of environment. The acoustics, mixing, levels, pretty much everything is working against you. Despite all of that, these kids sounded GREAT! That shows the level of talent all them have. I can only imagine what this cover would sound like if they went into a studio and got it produced.

This is phenomenal. Really tight and what I love is that they look like 5 people from 5 different friend groups who bond over one song.

I'm just a Megadeth Fan from South America, don't really know how I got here lol But incredible performance guys!!! Drummer was on his own world having a blast, guitar on point, awesome vocals, and the bassist just killed it haha. Keep it going!!

Respect to all of them for covering this legendary tune. I'm a drummer and i have to tske my hat of to this young drummer , who managed to play every beat of the original on a cheap 5 piece drumkit. Menza was watching and he would be proud . Guitar solo was great too. Bassist energy on different kevel. Vox was great too . Keep going guys

That clip is f'ing awesome. I am an actual trustee of that public high school district, I can report that I am extraordinarily happy to see the substantial improvement in the music program at that specific school, in such a short time. I could not be happier. Rock on.

I saw Megadeth live a long time ago. Dave said “We don’t do love songs. ...But if we DID ever do one, this is what it would sound like.”
