In and of myself, I am a slave to sin. But Christ bought the wrath of God that was intended for me. The finished works of Jesus Christ and my belief, trust and hope in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, has placed me in right standing with Jesus and the Father. Who made me righteousnes and who made me Holy? It sure wasn't me, nor was it by my efforts, willingness, smarts, good looks, and nor by my wit. If I could have obtained righteousness and Holiness by my efforts, then I don't need Jesus, I don't need a Savior. But I do need a Savior in Jesus. What Jesus did nearly 2,000 years ago, as Jesus hung on the cross, and who rose to eternal life, I could NEVER, EVER, Do on my own efforts.

You WERE a sinner saved by grace through faith. Now you ARE a saint, justified and glorified, co-heir with Christ. Eternally grateful for what He's done, never forget, but with confidence and boldness living as a new creation in Jesus Christ. Paul said this i do, I leave what's behind me and I move forward. No condemnation, no shame, no guilt, through grace. Your soul will be renewed in time to become more like Him, to align your soul to the truth of the Spirit.

We have to remember the law does not apply to the saved, but anyone walking and living today who does not confess Christ as Lord and Savior will be judged by the law.
