💔 It’s heartbreaking to see Kamrul, a 14-year-old child laborer in Dhaka. Working long hours in a stuffy leather factory, he has hardly any rest and his physical and mental well-being are suffering. Moving from the village to the city has not provided a better life for children like Kamrul. With limited livelihood opportunities for families living in slums, close to 1.7 million children are forced into child labor to help supplement their household income at a young age.
"Every child is precious and deserves equal rights and opportunities to education. Education plays a vital role in reducing poverty for future generations. It was truly moving to see how our World Vision staff are journeying with Kamrul, encouraging him to return to school. Invaluable intervention programs, like non-formal education classes, are being used to rehabilitate these children to enroll in government schools and income-generating activities are for parents.🌟
I hope your heart will feel compelled to help free these children from child labor. Let’s enable them to live life in all its fullness and no longer be invisible in the eyes of society! Together, we can create a brighter future for Kamrul and many others like him. Thank you for your support and generosity. "💕
