Runaway Horses is an amazing album - her best ever. I'm guessing the string arrangement they're talking about is for "Valentine" - that was a great track

I don't have Runaway Horses album yet but I guess with the songs I have heard from it: La Luna, Leave a Light on, Summer Rain, We Want the Same Thing, Runaway Horses, Valentine, Shades of Michaelangelo , I know it must be a brilliant album. I recently make a top 10 list of my favorite songs and Leave a Light on was number 4 on it. Summer Rain might have been there too. La Luna was the song that won when there were seven people choosing one song per person. I actually didn't know that people knew that song so well. I don't listen to radio usually, not even a little bit, so it is not possible to know which song is still played on radio.

No, the man they're mentioning who did the string arrangement was for Summer Rain. The strings on Valentine are amazing too though, Its my favourite song of hers from her career. Can't believe it wasn't a single.

Runaway Horses was her best album, every track a banger, and the contribution of George Harrison, Bryan Adams (!) and the Herb Ritts cover are legendary! „Summer Rain „and „La Luna“ are my favorite tracks!

I love her approach to what they call "geriatric rock", meaning musicians who you're afraid could break a hip on stage as they are way past their prime, physically, to be performing, eg. the Stones. But recently 70-something year-old Paul McCartney performed a 2+ hour live show and sounded great and had great energy. So I guess it depends on the musician. I like that she wants to have at least a little bit of dignity left. The point is, SHE infused this interview with a bit of humor.
