Imagine that, but having a Eldar and Necron sub plot such as an Eldar colony is aware that the Necrons will awake soon. Fabi is there to collect some empty soul stones while Cawl is sent there to by G man to improve relations with the Eldar. Now… We then find out that the reason the Eldar can’t just use their own magic or solve the issue themselves is due to it going to shit for… reasons. Revealed later that the reason everything is so chaotic is because Konrad was in the soul stone of his crown and has been placed into a craft world that was the main way that this colony was being maintained… so obvious reasons: this has gone to shit. With G-man and the Lion around, imagine them finding out Konrad is back and has been plugged into a Craft World. Add to this that the Night Lords are also planning to attack a craft world and that they may possibly find that Konrad has been brought back in some form.

Xeno scientists are on a whole other level. Look at Orikan and Szeras, for example. Orikan knows how to control time, to weaponize it, and how to achieve goodhood, while Szeras is well on his way to discovering it. Szeras was also the one who actually made use of the way tech the C'tan gave them to design the bio-furnaces, as well as most of the necron body and its improvements. That madlad designed an immortal race capable not only of taking on gods, but of becoming gods themselves. I'd say he's underrated as hell.

The difference between them is Cawl climbed Everest, while Bile climbed K2. Cawl got higher but did so along a well studied and organized path with multiple guides and support. Bile accomplished less in scale, but he started at a much lower point, and had to navigate a much more dangerous path entirely on his own. Both covered roughly the same distance.

I think this is the perfect comment for this debate Yes in a grander scale Cawl did more but then you realise in what situations they are in. Bile is somewhere in the Eye getting hunted by everyone and him trying to improve on his creations and then die. While Cawl was literally picked by the Emperor and were given some knowledge by the Big E. Bile has done more then Cawl and lets be honest at least Fabius kept a bit of his humanity he still does smile and think and care for his creations while Cawl uhhh.

I always saw it like Rocky 4. Cawl is Ivan Drago, training in a state of the art gym with scientists, trainers, and whole teams of people tending to his every need. Meanwhile, Fabius is Rocky, who goes out training by chopping down trees, running through snow, and lifting rocks in a barn. Both are great characters, but Bile has had a much tougher time being hated and chased through the galaxy, having to rely on his intellect and his own creations to stay “alive.”

Think it's worth mentioning that Bile has also mastered aspects of Webway tech, which is something I don't think any/many others have accomplished. He CREATED a sanctuary for his New Men, which is basically what the Emperor was trying to do before Magnus screwed everything up. Biles time within the Dark City under the direct tutelage of the Haemonculi probably puts him above Cawl in my eyes, as the closest comparison is Cawl having the Emperor's blue prints, instead of being directly mentored.

I think that if Fabius will manage to clone the Emperor, then the throne Emperor will die (because of "unrelated" plot reasons) and instantly reincarnate into this new vessel, confusing and scaring everyone around him. That, or the vessel gets a shard of the Emperor's soul lying around in the warp.

Khorne, since the Imperium is in perpetual war and places a great stock in loyalty to the Emperor. There would be no hope for chaos if Tzeentch joined, which is paradoxical. Nurgle wouldn't be much use since conquered planet would become biohazards and troops would not want anything to do with exposure to his diseases. No one would would want to join Slaanesh, lust makes troops undiciplined and torture is bad for morale, plus it would earn them a war with all eldar.

Honestly, there's really only one way I could see Fabious Bile succeeding in his Emperor Cloning attempts. Fabious has reliably been able to create Primarch Bodies, but he cannot reliably create a Primarch soul. If Majorkill's theory on why the clone of Fulgrim worked is correct--then Fabious is capable of creating a body suitable for a particular Primarch Soul...and if said soul is available, it will inhabit it. So....if he manages to make a perfect clone of The Emperor's body, then what he's done is created a new not-busted body suitable for The Emperor's soul. If the Golden Throne fails, his soul may move into the new body. Or, well...he might be able to inhabit that body in addition to his original. He did take over Guilliman for a bit, there. Just imagine him doing the same thing with a body perfectly suited for his soul. Of course, a full transfer seems somewhat wildly unlikely...cuz the return of The Emperor in all his power could very much be the end of the story of 40K.

Cawl made Space marines squared. Bile once cloned a Primarch for no other apparent reason then because he could. One is “Oh thats cool.” The other is “holy shit how the hell did you even do that.”

Cloning is not nearly as impressive as improving the design of space marines. Also his primarch clones were flawed and without their primarch powers, except one fulgrim, but fabius didnt even know what he did right to make the perfect fulgrim clone

Cawl managed to increase on the Emperor's work while Bile only created cheap copies. If i recall correctly, his New Men are quite flawed and evil, even if stronger and faster,etc. While it may have been retconned, Bile's creations have always been twisted copies, particularly his "enhanced" astartes which melted down, were shambling monsters, etc. Bile has ambition, but not the skill to match that.

Fabius Bile? Or FABULOUS Bile? Addendum: This was REALLY informative. I didn't know that Caul had direct access to the Emperor's notes and such and that he's been able to work with Necron tech, or that Fabius learned about Eldar tech because their inherent psyker nature helps him use it to work with the Warp shenanigans Chaos messes with. They're like the two madly brilliant, or perhaps brilliantly mad, opposite sides of the same genius coin.
