the innari lore only makes sense if you understand that cegorach is an ancient tzeench/unfallen gabriel. that the things that are unfolding are not logical, they are daemonic powers at their maximum/ancestral level. ynead is a daemon, blue, birth from commoragh that behave like ancient eldar. get it? ynead and slaanesh are tzeench/emperor ploy.

It really is an epidemic. As 4chan eloquently put it (regarding their "official" author): "Gav Thorpe seems to be rather sad that he could not write a third book about a supposedly hyper-intelligent psychic species making bizarrely stupid choices that get hundreds of them killed..." That said I think the DOW novels were written by C.S. Goto, who has a MASSIVE fetish for Eldar dying.

@@xenonchikmaxxx i am a boring space marine fan but the setting needs to have respectable/scary/capable/fleshed out xenos for me to actually enjoy being a spehs mahreen fan. For example a Space Marine chapter destroying an entire CRAFTWORLD is bullshit. Dozens of guard regiments supported by imperial navy + admech assets assaulting the craftworld while several space marine chapters hit key targets in advance while suffering heavy casualties would be at the very least believable. Fighting aspect warriors isn't going to be your regular bolterporn action for tactical marine Chadicus Tacticus. Same concept applies to most other Xeno conflicts imo. Tracyn could have so many reasons to have a solitaire. Maybe the solitaire has some prophecy or knowledge it needs to keep from slaneesh and wants to go to stasis. Maybe there was a poketrade that helped the eldar. Maybe the laughing god saw that Trazyn needs a poketaire in a critical spot in order for something beneficial to happen. Maybe the solitaire just plays a joke on slaneesh and plans to outwait the god denying the soul that was promuded. Him having one does not mean he caught one fair and square. I agree with the take here on the Solitaire power level. Their name seems to imply that they always operate alone (as in separate from other Solitaires) which is good news to everyone else they might decide to fight. Pretty terrifying when one of, if not the fastest beings in existence just needs to land one hit and you are instantly dead. There is 0 margin for error if you fight one, regardless of who you are, which I think adds some much needed power to the Eldar as a whole.

See, this is an issue I have: can fully understand the Harlequins Kiss being deadly against heavily armoured infantry, but let's say it punches through a tank and the crew/troops inside are Marines in normal power armour...... Is the HKs filament mechanism powerful enough to shred them to bits as well? 🤔
@johnfarscape
@johnfarscape Жыл бұрын
@horuslupercal2385 well technically mono filament wire is actually physically impossible but if it was then you wouldn't need the kiss part to inject the wire as the filament whip woild separate the bonds of anything it passed through. . If we take the term as just being a name and it being an incredibly thin wire then it would kill unarmoured or lightly armoured crew but power armour would be enough to protect you. . . Still not as much fun as opening a portal inside the vehicle with an Ork shock attack gun and filling it with rabid snotlings though 🤣

My theory about the Solitaire in Trazyn's collection is that it's not actually captured. Just pretending to be. Waiting for the biggest excursion of Slaanesh since the fall of the Eldar, the return of a united Emperor's Children legion under the command of demon Fulgrim. And the Solitaire's mission? To release the perfect clone of Fulgrim and bring him to the battle.

The Eldar lore videos are my favorite element of Majorkill's content. Your average Warhammer fan normally isnt aware that Eldar in all facets (despite their near-extinct population numbers) are more OP than the Imperium. Phoenix Lords are Primarch-tier. Dark Reaper missile launchers fire exploding projectiles exactly like a Space Marine bolter...except can fucking track you behind cover. An average Eldar guardian who's regular 9-5 is poetry is still faster than a human being by vast numbers. Theyre psychic monsters as well. The fact that they get shit on by GW and even the fans is asinine to me

@Watcher-in-the-Dark
@Watcher-in-the-Dark Жыл бұрын
Books depend on the factions you like. If you like Space Marines then Horus Heresy for sure, if you wanna stick into 40k then I'd suggest finding your favorite faction then digging into their specific books. Ciaphas Cain is probably the best starting books for 40k as they are really fun with really good characters and with probably the most fan famous character in the setting. If you want well rounded info on the factions as a whole then if recommend the army books and wiki's. As for animations for badassery then Astartes, for top tier amazing then I'd recommend endlessly, If the Emperor had a text to speech device.

So check it, The laughing god switched fulgrim and Khans pods right? What if the reason had something to do with when jagati went into the webway, he made some sort of deal or got captured by the laughing god and his gene seed was used on the harlequinns? Wouldn't that explain how the solitaires speed, strength, and power along with their showmanship kind of seem like a mix of the Khan combined with the laughing god?

Eldar wouldn't benefit at ALL from Gene Seed. Their biology is fueled primarily from psychic juice (even the psyker stunted D-Eldar still need tortured soul juice to keep themselves in tip top shape) and if they have enough psychic juice they can potentially become even stronger than space marines...they just can't use a lot of their power because Slanny BB will instantly nom their buttholes. That said I love the theory that Cegorach has the Khan in his back pocket ready to toss out like a pokemon at the exact right time. I sincerely have not thought of that and I love it immensely.

It's always funny to me that the Custodes are portrayed as these perfect beings crafted personally by the Emperor himself, each being a protagonist in their own right and are second to none in terms of combat abilities.
