Love your work Anthony - honestly - no one does it better. Your reviews are what make this channel work. I have the Bell Bullitt and wear it a lot... but I wouldn't get another style based helmet. The Eliminator seems to be better than the Bullitt in some respects, but the noise and fit of the Bullitt just hasn't worked from me long term - I'd definitely recommend trying one on before buying.. Congrats on promotion Anthony! I think they should keep you doing reviews and just pay you more - you're worth it. I'd love to see reviews of the X-lite ultra carbon series as a follow up to the 802RR. I think I've made up my mind anyways - but I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Nice gopro mount spot though.. With they made one like this with vents that can open/ close and had an internal flip-down sun visor and detents in the face shield mechanism.

BELL should take that old skool circle-vents on the crown & integrate it into the front chin area now that would scream 60’s retro-moto styling! I wouldn’t hesitate to jump on it but gotta admit the Bell Bullitt is pulling on my heart strings!

Considering the hype over the Shoei Glamster, Bell Bullitt, and Torq T1 helmets, I'm surprised I haven't seen more push behind this helmet. Retro styling is on fire right now, and the Eliminator goes head-to-head with the Glamster (Hamster?) for minimal weight and vintage design aesthetic. I just bought a gloss white Eliminator to complete my style, and it's definitely not "shake 'n bake." It's a super slick helmet that is definitely everything I want and nothing I don't. Unfortunately, in today's world, it's like wearing a Rolex - 90% of folks won't even notice.

These things are way overpriced. At $400 you're paying a HUGE premium just for vintage looks and sacrificing way too much on other features that are far more important on a helmet. I just paid $450 for a Bell Race Star (on clearance) and spent around the same for a Shoei RF1200 a few years ago and both are Snell certified and far superior helmets.

Somebody sells plugs for those vent holes now in white and black. I saw them for $15. Can't remember if they were Bell or aftermarket. This site says maybe move up a size. Why doesn't Bell change their fit guide then? The Bell fit guide I saw with this helmet said 58-59cm was a medium and 60cm was a large. Then, in this model they also have an MD-LG (medium large). So, what size head is that supposed to fit? Many brands call 59-60cm a large (hat size 7-1/4-7-1/2). Can't these companies get together and work out some commonality in sizes? FWIW, I have the same problem with oil filters on cars. Why do we need 1000 different sizes? Make a small, medium and large and run with it. Just my 2 cents.

Simpson has the ghost bandit. But just know word is that Snell will not test helmet with drop down visors b/c they say they have weakened she'll from the pocket made in for the visor. Yeah. Also most tracks are starting to say plastic shells are not safe enough and carbon and fibor glass are the only allowed if that matters to you.

I've won one so interesting to see your review. I love my Bullitt for narrow chin bar although that chin vent is pretty useless so the no chin vent not a big deal. Think I need to see in the flesh before I choose the graphic for me though. Thanks guys

@@scottalexander1669 I now have 2 and have never worn my bullit again. But I'm now looking at the Bell SRT modular but can't justify the cost thanks the covid unemployment sadly. Hope this helps both eliminators are super comfortable compared to bullit.

How's the visibility in this compared to the Bullitt? Is there a transitions shield in the works for this? Any feedback on noise levels or whistling from the vents?

Took this helmet out for a few days around Philly and the suburbs when testing for the video, and the wind noise was moderate in the city where I think this helmet really finds its home. However once you get up on the highway, all of those vents you can't close to start to make the helmet louder than average when up over 65 mph. Nothing crazy, but definitely more noticeable than non-style focused helmets with modern aero-tech. Nothing as far as Transitions or ProTint that we've been told so far, and we haven't seen that tech on the retro-helmets from Bell too often. As far as visibility compared to the Bullitt, you do have a smaller field of view since the Bullitt has an abnormally large view port based on the style, but nothing drastically different from most modern helmets available today. - Pat

@@mckinnonerario2883 This helmet is still a bit loud on the highway compared to riding around town. Unfortunately, that has more to do with the fact that style takes precedent over features and aerodynamics with this helmet and helmets like the Bullitt. Combating high noise levels is still a $3 fix by buying a pack of earplugs at your local pharmacy in my eyes. However, there are companies creating the latest/greatest in noise reduction in helmets, but those are less about style and typically come at much much more premium price tags (i.e Shoei Neotec 2, Schuberth C4 Pro, etc).

If you are looking for a helmet with less wind noise, something with a more modern design is going to be your best bet. The Bell Eliminator is a retro design and based off auto-racing helmets, both factors are not things that go hand-in-hand with aerodynamics / wind noise. You can wear ear plugs with this helmet to help reduce the wind noise, but most retro helmets are going to be on the louder side of the spectrum just based on their overall designs / less innovated-aero styling.

Overpriced and unsatisfying. Unimpressed by the overall structure once I had it in person. Airflow on this helmet is the worst I've ever experienced, and it's so damn loud inside the helmet. Besides looking really cool, this helmet is so bad. My cheap $100 helmet outperforms this thing on every level. However, RevZilla does fantastic reviews. This is just coming from someone who doesn't need to sell this terrible helmet.
