Great video; thanks! I'm a big Bell fan. My Bell Qualifier DLX with MIPS came with Transitions shield. Love the Transitions shield. The whole package is unquestonably the best value in Helmets. With the Bell package, conciderng the value of the Helmet and the MIPS option, the Transitions shield is essentially free!

Great video. Just got the chrome version for half off and love this helmet. Fits my big melon. This helmet does get a ton of air going in it. Great vid as usual. I have the eliminator myself, but from early on there was an air leak between the two panes of the shield, and it fogs up. if this were a pinlock system, I'd just need to replace the single pane to the shield. But in this case, it seems I have to replace the whole shield. Otherwise, I do think this is a big step up from something like the gringo ece s - for weight, ventilation, optics and padding.

I bought the Mirror version, as it was going out of production and price was about 100 Euros less than others. My M size fits very well, helmet looks uncommon and well designed. Light enough to be worn for hours. BUT unfortunately it's almost noisy, also if closed and within the upper clover. My usual average speed is 70-80 km/h. I own 9 open jet helmets from many Brands, so I was expecting my first integral was absolutely more silent than jets; but actually no, I am almost disappointed for this unexpected lack. I appreciate your expert video

I've been riding with the bell bullit for, is it three years already? Anyway, love the visibility I get with it, I bought a Sena helmet with the built in bluetooth for group rides, I hate the reduced viability and head turn ability with that helmet although on phone calls people have no idea I'm riding. Ah right, I suspect the helmets for the US are not marked as CE and only those sold in Europe are marked with both? It’s the same helmet so would have the same protection but I don’t know how it would stand legally in the event of an accident if it’s not CE marked? Tricky

So which is your helmet of Choice? Arai Rapide? Bell Eliminator? Shoei Ryd? Would be nice to hear your thoughts on this.
@mancavemoto4 жыл бұрын
For an all round helmet I’d pick the RYD (with the transitions visor) simple, comfortable, safe, light and good ventilation. It’s been my favourite helmet for a couple of years. The Eliminator is not really an option for year round riding in the UK, but is a great helmet for the warmer months. The Arai comes close, very close

@@mancavemoto I'm currently on an RSV4 but planning to shift to a z900rs cafe, so I would've wanted a helmet that would look good on both, and had good ventilation (Philippines is very warm and humid). Other options are Bell race star flex dlx and Scorpion Exo R1.
@mancavemoto4 жыл бұрын
Ventilation will be fine, but I think the vision might be a issue? It’s not disastrous by any means, but this is, I think, designed for an upright riding position

Good vid as normal. I have too bell bullets and think they are beautiful helmets but as in one of your earlier videos find they are bad, noise wise (always wear ear plugs) uncomfortable (short jurneys never all day) and leak as bad as an open face helmet. So question you did mention it briefley in this video, is the helmet a vast improvement on the bullets? Not all show? Again fantastic looking helmet and the price is reasonable compared with competition (arai/shoae) on the shoe, I could not buy a helmet called glamster, might as well call it the "Gayyyye"
