This one was my fave of the Bell Lane releases I've had. Although, with whatever mishap happened to my bag of Vergara, the bar was pretty low. I often like when geshas are more intense and have some berry-forward notes. Also, I drink a ton of geshas. So when they have a higher body, it's a nice change of pace.

Was really surprised (and disappointed) that the Johan Vergara didn't turn out as good when Airworks brought it in, the one we'd received was such a gem. Have theories, but it's in the past now. Glad this one was better for you though. Definitely some nice body to it. Appreciate the feedback, cheers ☕️

When peach is listed as a tasting note, what should you expect from the coffee? Does it typically represent sweetness and brightness?

That's a tricky question because it can be presented in a lot of different ways. I often keep in consideration that an origin can impact the way fruit notes are perceived as well. A peach from a Colombian coffee can taste very different from a peach in an Ethiopian or Kenyan coffee. Some roasters (Coffea Circulor) highlight that specific difference noting some present a peach like acidity vs a true peach-like flavor profile. So there's no singular answer as it varies a lot
