Funny , brings back memories. I bought mine in New Hampshire ,it had a sheer head on it , went all the way to Mississippi and bought a dangle head and put it on . I'm in northwestern Pennsylvania. Lots of fun.

I actually had the privilege of having Peter Bell and his two sons on my job and talked with them about Bell history. Really nice guys! And awesome machines!

@@GBLogging I too have had the pleasure of working with Peter and Paul having worked on the Super T, Ultra T and Ultra C range of Feller Bunchers and moving over to the Slew Boom Tracked Harvester and Feller Buncher at the Richards Bay Factory in the 90s. We built and sold a hellava lot of these Machines to the South East Asian Markets and even in North America. Awesome days those were !

@@napsterking7500 that’s awesome I’m sure you know those machines inside and out! Wish we could still get new ones!

What a peculiar machine, it's a dozer, grapple skidder, butcher all in one. You ever done a walk around video? I would love to see the outside and inside controls.
@GBLogging2 жыл бұрын
When I get a chance il do a walk around video of it, and yes they are very versatile!
@PAYNEKILLER..2 жыл бұрын
@@GBLogging That would be cool, I'd love to see what controls it has, I'd guess it travels by pedal and the cutter functions are on joysticks.

G'day GBL, if that machine was a bulldozer would it be of a similar size to a D4 ?
@GBLogging2 жыл бұрын
It has a d5 high track under carriage and weighs around 20,000 lbs so I’m guessing it’s similar in size to a d4 but probably not as heavy
@ishure88492 жыл бұрын
Ok thanks a compact little beast 👍

Where did you buy the 3/4 conversion also the upgraded motor also I live in Missouri if you would like to give me a lesson on mine
@GBLogging2 жыл бұрын
Randy Bowlin at the Logger Shop is the guy that designed and sells the conversion kit. I can get you his number if you want it. And what machine is yours a ultra or super? And what kind of lessons you need? You just getting started with it?
@codysmith28122 жыл бұрын
I’ll have to look into the conversion. We found the GB bars are better than the Oregon ones Derick. Right now our left side barely pulling on our ultra tire machine got to dig into what’s going on there.

Hello! Love that little machine. Can you tell me what year model that is? I can't find much info online about those machines. Thanks!
@GBLogging Жыл бұрын
I think it is a 95 but not sure, and sadly there isn’t a lot of information on them. They didn’t make very many of the track machines either so if you find a good one you better jump on it
@davidmadill9268 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the info! I figured that was the case. Keep up the good work!

Wow, what a wonderful piece of equipment...But I can help but be angry that Im not there to cleanup the wasted tops of these trees...Tens of thousands of dollars of firewood going to waste...Id move my Processor in there, and collect it all.
@GBLogging2 жыл бұрын
Yessir there’s a lot of tops that get left behind, we sell all we can for pulp and the firewood guys around here want really nice strait trees and both the pulp mills and firewood guys have more wood than they want So we end up having to leave a lot behind sadly,

Was it hard to convert? Was there a big benefit?
@GBLogging2 жыл бұрын
I bought it already swapped over, I can imagine it’s a big job to swap. But the Cummins runs a lot cooler. the duetz had a problem of running hot causing the hydraulics to heat up as well
@logdog89202 жыл бұрын
@@GBLogging I'm from west central Wisconsin, where its normally colder than most other parts of the country. I also notice with extended periods of operations, the machine slows down in general, probably from heating up the HYD oil also. On your machine is the radiator mounted on top of the rear frame?
