They have eating disorders. I work as a professional model, not nearly at their level of success, but I see this behavior all the time. Models starve themselves for weeks leading up to a big event (photoshoot, fashion show, etc.) and after it's over they binge on fast food. I used to do that too. They should just go vegan.
