I've owned a tie dye business before, I made cool stuff and took pride in my work. It was clean and no brown it was crisp....but these new tie dyers are absolutely blowing my mind, great stuff, I learned a few things from you. Hey try a dowel when you fold shirts in half. A Long wooden dowel layer down the middle of the shirt then fold the shirt over the dowel. Use the edge of the dowel when removing it to make sure there are no seams in your fold.

This tutorial inspired my to try some tie-dyeing myself, but I think I'll start with a much simpler pattern and work my way up to the Wig-Wag
@BelladonnaDyesCo3 жыл бұрын
That’s a good idea. The wigwag isn’t necessarily hard to make but they are time consuming. I had to make a handful of shirts to get to this one… ❤️🌈

Hi, can you tell me what can I use as substitute of calsolene oil? Here in Italy I cannot find it! I literally love this shirt! It is fantastic. Thanks
@BelladonnaDyesCo3 жыл бұрын
Calsolene is not a necessity. You can mix dye with plain tap water and achieve perfectly fine tie dye. ❤️🌈

So excited to try this I hope I can make it happen
@BelladonnaDyesCo Жыл бұрын
You can do it!! Saturation is key. Make small pleats and peek in between to make sure you’re fully saturated. Good luck! Have fun!! 😁❤️🌈

do you have a precise tutorial on how to do that fold? The initial fold you did before doing the pattern fold.
@BelladonnaDyesCo2 жыл бұрын
How to center a shirt,,, yes, plus I do it repeatedly in pretty much all the tutorials that aren’t spirals. Watch a few… you’ll see me do it over and over. ❤️🌈

I always love your art!! May I ask your water thickener recipe? I cannot seem to make it a good consistency.
I can only hope that i can do close to what you did here. Really a beautiful shirt.
