Haha loved this vlog thanks... we quite fancy trying Belladrum this year if possible. Haven’t done many festivals in the comfort of our trusty camper Janis yet! Your mates are all bonkers too. Step away from the gimble 😂 Looks like a great mix of music and stages, your quick clips of bands are great. They give a good flavour for what to expect. 🎵🎶 I take it you had early tickets to avoid the queues? 🚚🚛

@@TeaStained yeah we did. Not going this year though as the line up really isn't for us anymore. Quite a shake up in my festivals coming up. Belladrum is still a great family proper festival so I'd go ASAP if you are thinking about it. It's changed though, the line up is getting more commercial and less eclectic, it's becoming more about profit and the extras that made it special are being whittled down. Don't get me wrong, I'd still have a great time if I went but it would be for different reasons than previously. Lots of festies out there so I'll be elsewhere this time.

@PeteDevlinootnaboot Thanks for the heads up! We are up for Celtic Connections this year. Sadly, only time for one gig while house hunting!

Europeans have the best camper vans , hell even the VW California they won't sell in the U.S. ?? And Rving is big in the states . Love your channel Pete , i never seem to meet any metal heads in my older age ....

@@Bryan-lg3fn thanks for watching and commenting. I dunno if ours are best, they're just smaller as our roads are smaller. We do have big winnebago style things but they're pretty much limited to manicured camp grounds as they'll not get traction anywhere else or get stuck and unable to do a 3 point turn to get out. Compromises to be made whatever you get. As for meeting metal heads, they won't come to you! Find a gig, commit and go make friends! Whenever we go to a new city for a gig we Google where the local metal scene is and go visit. It's the best feeling meeting people just like you from other places. Our wee town has no scene at all but we've got a small group of folks hijacking a local bar once every few months and advertising it on fb. People are starting to go! From acorns do the mighty oaks grow!
