De las pocas bandas de hoy día (y de siempre) que no necesitan playback ni ordenadores para hacer música, y por mala suerte hay muchos artistas y bandas que hacen la música de esta forma (con playback y ordenadores) y tienen más repercusión que Belle and Sebastian (ejemplos: Desireless, Milli Vanilli, reggaetoneros).
