This is very helpful, 100%! I looove your swatch videos because I genuinely think that the way you show the finger swatches along the arm swatches and how close and thorough they are is one of the most illustrative way of showcasing the shades and textures and effects! By the way I didn't realize how gorgeous The Dead Roses palette is until this video😍 I wish there were maroonish red matte (if that makes sense😁) instead of more orangy one, I just like that kinda shades more) Thank you for the super useful content❤ Please do more of that❤‍🔥

I really like the bottom two rows in angles of illumination but there's too much blue in the rest for me to justify the pallete. Moonlight and Gleam look alot like the special shade in PM moonlit seduction. The dead roses palette is stunninggg and you're right, they should have done a red shimmer instead of the two red mattes

When you swatched Rarity I was trying to goon so I pulled my phone really close to my face to see it better & the instant I did, *BAM! Bright*ss commercial, 🔥👀😆 I’d say Dead Roses is the best value as it also has some stunning purples, gorgeous’ness, I loved it

That UltraViolet palette is stunning, but if I could only choose one between that and the Dead Roses…I’m going for the Dead Roses! I normally don’t even like pink/red Valentines Day-types of color stories for eyeshadow, but this one is just special, spectacular, and so much more interesting than they usually are. Love it! Love BBB in general! I do agree that the Angles of Illumination isn’t the best representation of the brand as a whole, but it’s lovely, too! Also, the camera/lights set up is A+ if you ask me!❤

I’ve never tried Bella beute bar before. I love purple and am very intrigued by an all purple palette that goes from light to dark and has some warmer and cooler purples. However, the Valentine’s Day one you swatched looked like the shades were even more vibrant and special. Hmmm. I don’t know if I want reddish shades though.

But these BBB 2 new palettes I absolutely need these 2 beauty in my collection I have the Angles of illumination and I tell you that palette is gorgeous. I feel they have done this as many of us outside the USA get hit with expensive shipping. If I have to pay about $80 AUD in shipping I can only justify if I get two palettes at once. It’s the shipping costs that limit Indi brands internationally and many comments on IG complain when they can’t group products.

Stop Cupid is the cutest name ever!! I have a kitty named Opal, she’s just as fluffy! This was a great video ❤ I really want Deandra’s palette, it’s so stunning! Thank you so much for this! I love the new overhead set up, it’s so nice to see the beautiful swatches like this! So many dimensional, magical shades ✨ also I didn’t like how the aoi palette had multiple repeats, thank you for always being brutally honest! I don’t like tealy shades really but love purples and dark blues. and I loved the blue tones, but I definitely couldn’t justify that one! That one shade from DR you compared to the basic witch shade looks gorgeous though, I can’t justify that one too lmao. I’m going to try to recreate the look with a purple multichrome and peachy iridescent if I can 😂 Really hoping for Dee’s palette and maybe basic witch if i can snag it at some point! 💜 thank you so much for such a great overview of the palettes! It really helped in my decision making!

the ultraviolet palette is one of the most BEAUTIFUL purple palettes i’ve ever seen!!! the dead roses palette is GORGEOUS, and i’m in LOVE with the first shimmer/multichrome in the palette!!! the angles of illumination palette is beautiful, but i wish they didn’t discontinue the previous one. the shades luster, moonlight, glow, sunlight, shapeshift, and perception are my favorite shades in the palette. i wish i could buy those shades as singles separately. the basic witch palette was my first purchase from BBB and i instantly fell in love with the brand, and i still want the recently deinfluenced, smokey glam, best mattes, and highlighter palette along with some singles and the highlighter… but they’re all sold out right now. this year i will DEFINITELY try more BBB palettes and finally try ensley reign. ER has soooo many palettes that i want, but my priority purchase will be the cold moon palette, because it’s an AMAZING color story, and i know they have an incredible formula, and i loveeee cool tones!!! they’ve been on my wishlist for years now. 🤍🤍🤍

Thanks for the swatches! I’m still waiting for a BBB palette to speak to me enough to purchase. It seems a lot of their palettes have repetitive shades and some have very childish/ cringey themes or shade names. Also seems strange to release Dead Roses (which BTW wish this had greens in it - this doesn’t say dead roses to me) where half the palette is purples right along side Ultraviolet. I’m interested to see how the brand evolves.

Yeay! First video I'm seeing about these palettes! I wanted the Dead Roses palette to be a more intense version of Ensley Reign's Cold Moon palette, like the cover of the palette would have indicated. However, it still tempts me ... but only some of the shades! I'm glad there's still several days for me to see it in action in videos and see if I become "more influenced."😊

The two identical shades in the Angles of Illumination palette was a manufacturing error, so they reduced the price, essentially making one shadow free. They are going to try and fix it in subsequent restocks, and I want to say offer the new/different shade individually in the future, but I’m not 100% on that. But yeah, that was definitely a mistake!

Hey any what did you think of the formulas for the angel’s pallet, I got it and agree to many similar shades and too flaky, the bottom row had the the best formulas and I like the one on top row that was blue to lilac

Some felt really nice and some felt a little chunky. I’ve only used one shade on my eyes so far so I need to test it more. I feel like the formula of the shimmers from basic witch is more consistent silkyness

I think the all shimmers palette is lacking a vibrant red and a burgundy maybe, because the first row has 4 shades very similar and then the same purples that the other two palettes have. Also I think that the valentine one has again very similar purples than the collab one and I think it was not a good idea launch them almost together and not giving the hype the creator deserve. I guess the quality is great and all the shades are beautiful but for me is too much too quick.

Amy, Thanks for swatches of these palettes. I have the Best Mattes and I think all those purple matte shades are in it, the ones in the Ultra Violet. I also do not want a monochromatic eyeshadow palette. I do not love the BBB matte formula , you have to build up too much. I wish I could just buy the empty palettes, I am not crazy about the Dead Roses colorstory. The Angles of Illumination has too many similar shades for me and they did reduce the price because of it, but not enogh for me to buy it. I am on a no buy so a pass on all of them.

Never tried Bella beauty bar..every video I have watched the mattes look so bleh. Debated on just buying the angel palette but then I see those swatches and honestly am not wowed by it. I feel like there are too many overlaps or similarities between some that the price is just not justifiable.

I would definitely recommend watching the video I did doing three looks with the ultra violet palette. The mattes were so good on the eyes, that why I always say swatches aren’t everything

I don’t think it’s gimmicky. There’s tons of options and you can choose whether it will or won’t work for you. There’s plenty of people out there that can’t dupe everything... 😕
