Belle and Sebastian have made some incredible songs but this is my favourite. It's just beautiful in every way. Long live the days of coffee shops and bookstores.

This song makes me to remember my best friend who I was actually in love with. He loved this song very much. He's quite sick right now.

One of my favorite songs from B&S. AMAZING

It's also a reference to D.A. Pennebaker's "Don't Look Back" starring Bob Dylan.

I have "Don't look back, like Dylan in the movies" as my bumper sticker on my car. It means so much, given the fact that I was madly in love with a boy named Dylan, but the phrase itself, "Don't look back" means a lot.

The question that I'm not and I'll never be able to answer: WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE SONG FROM 'IF YOU'RE FEELING SINISTER'??????
@jds191913 жыл бұрын
@robertovelozperalta same feeling here, the whole album is PERFECT.

I think this song's about a stalker following someone home from a party. It's deliciously twisted, if that's the case, because the one giving the advice is also the one following. Who is standing there to see this person "tenderly turn out the lights in their room" but the stalker standing quietly outside? Lovely.
