I think Hermes is RIDICULOUS for expecting people to spend a fortune before they are even offered the bag. The Walmart version now is making the original to common. I enjoy being unique and original. I am happy with a good leather well made nameless bag. My sister gifted me a Beautiful leather bag she purchased in Argentina years ago. We both still have them and they still look brand new after years of use. That is quality not the name of the item. I want to keep my money rather than make a bunch of greedy board members richer. I can’t get enough either, 😂 I do not feel like it’s cheating the brand at all. There have been dupes all my life. Anyone can tell the difference between faux and real leather. Hermes is a business and can make their own rules but that is insane you have to spend 30k to even be offered one. 10k+ for a bag is just not me, so much I can buy with all that money. In my opinion, those that are against it are just being very hypocritical. A bag or no material item will ever make you classy for one. Class is not something we wear, but a state of mind and being. I have the now No longer available Teddy Blake by Buti, Birkin. This bag was so extremely well made that Hermes took them to court, won and had them stop making and selling those bags. I’d be very surprised if Hermes doesn’t file a lawsuit against Walmart. This will be very interesting to see played out.

A day late and a dollar short, the story of my life. This practice of copying high end goods has been going on for years, so why all of a sudden is it disrespectful? I do not feel that buying a copy in my price range is seen this way. Why should we support the brands who treat their customers so poorly, as seen recently with Bethany Frankel and Channel. Did you know, that Hermes & Chanel are the only Designer Labels that have a logo showing on their products, that old money will wear. Old money buy luxury jewellery, garments, jackets, shoes, bags, luggage etc. from Companies that don't have any logos showing. These Companies have been built on legacy and trust. The old money aesthetic is classic and elegant which is timeless. I don't think old money women would worry about this Walmart Wirkin Scandal. The people who were once poor and now rich, I feel they are the ones most likely to complain because they feel superior to others. I work at Walmart and I don’t see the issue with the bag, because not everyone can afford an actual Birkin this bag is not a counterfeit version and it’s not manufactured by Walmart, there are 3rd party sellers selling this bag and it’s manufactured by different companies, I personally wouldn’t buy it that’s because I only wear Coach, but I see nothing wrong with others buying this bag and enjoying it.

I think its fine to buy and carry a dupe. The only time I feel it would be a problem is if the owner of the Wirkin passed it off as a real Birkin and shaming others that don't have designer brands. I disagree with you 💯. I have heard of so many issues with the Chanel products. The quality is not the same as it used to be. Hermes makes you spend so much money to get their bags and you have to wait for 2yrs for the bags. I have their Orans sandals which I love. Is brand loyalty beneficial to the public? What do I owe Hermes, Gucci, Fendi, etc.??? Please someone explain this thought to me. Why do some people think that following the rules and expectations of the fashion industry is a must? If no crime has been committed, it is evident that the fashion industry is just trying to maintain its choke hold on our necks. I will wear what my money can buy! I refuse to be controlled by the fashion industry or brain washed by those who can afford it and don’t want to see working class people with similar items. Some people who can afford to buy the items are threatened by the fact that working class people will be able to buy something that looks similar to or better than items that they paid thousands to purchase. I was lucky enough to order a #30 orange Wirkin and it is beautiful! The leather is gorgeous and it is very well made. I have several bags that originally were hundreds of dollars and the quality of the Wirkin is up there, for sure!

I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one kislux Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym

About 7 years ago Teddy Blake (the luxury brand),and then Ainifeel,Cherish and couple of other brands fully copied and sold the Birkin and Kelly models bags with different Logo as Butty and etc for few years and their prices was from 500$ and up,the quality was awful i saw a lot of reviews I understand that the model of this bags was officially invented and created in Hermes,but as i know those Wirkins does not have any Logo stamped on them it's just similar/inspired model for very affordable price (15 to 82$) and I think it's ok,bcz many pple likes this model of bags and can't afford to buy Hermes which is costs as car and it not worth it at all

When I see somebody wearing a fake, I look at how they styled it. Because there’s a lot of people that wear real bags and they’re ugly and they don’t dress well. They may be real, but the bag and styling is ugly. And then you have these other people who wear fake bags, but they style it so well, you know if they had the money they would be a diva. Who gives a company the right to say you can't resell a bag you purchased? Some of us don't just toss things. We use them as long as we can, then donate them, or repurpose them. I did purchase one couple of and I’ll tell you what they are not well-made I would much rather buy the real thing if I had the money, but I don’t, but it was a waste of my money. They didn’t even put the liner inside it. I mean, it’s just plain old leatherfrom the inside. It’s nothing you can’t use it. What are you gonna do with it? There’s no pockets there’s nothing so yeah you’re right. It would end up in Lafield but what I’m gonna do with them is donate.
