Midwest is Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. Some consider North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Kansas to also be included but I don’t believe they are considered to be the core midwestern states. People from WI, MI, IL, OH, and IN travel a lot in between
