It's an okay trade. However, we had to eat 22 million dollars of Bellinger's 27 million dollar deal with the Cubs. So that isn't too good because he's not that good, but it's still an upgrade over Verdugo.

Juan Soto was not that good. I watched the majority of the games and the guy was mediocre at best in the field. If someone is getting paid $51mil a year, he better have the best defense and offense available, period. Soto was terrible in the outfield and not nimble enough to play infield. This contract will age like 2 week old milk.

Just remember that in 2009, NY signed Swisher to play 1B and then later they signed Texiera to play 1B and moved Swisher to RF.
