Man, I grew up around San Diego when I was young. Very young.... (it goes back to the 60's, when I was in elementary school) What Mike is in touch with is "Sabor Total" he's into a life that is personally expressive and more fun than anything else. "SABOR" does not just mean 'flavor', it is far more than that... ~and that is part of what Southern California taught me

Thanks for keeping the tradition alive (I'll call it) for all to see show it was and is today. My second car was a 50' chev 2 dr. sedan. I lowered it took the chrome off the trunk, bull nosed the hood and had the interior done in tuck and roll. Paint was Empress Metallic Blue and it had Dodge Lancer Spinner hubcaps. What's sad I only have a memory of it as there's no pictures of it finished. All this happened while I was in high school. 1958-1962 when I sold it. I'm 79'now and still appreciate cars like you build. Keep up the great work. Jim

Answers from the heart... We know your one of the best builders and your metal work is untouchable and very difficult to match. I see guys try to chop with square corners and I say "what the fu_k is he thinking", guess they don't know that square corners will fail over time. Mike, can someone visit your shop and get their hands dirty with you? 😎

I like your style, Brother. I'm a wood that grew up in East LA (1975 - present) and became an instant fan of all the lowriders being worked on across the street from my house! From the chrome grills, to the subtle lines of a bomb, to the skirts, to how low it was - I was infatuated from that moment on! You have an ocean of talent that keeps us wanting more. The way a vision in your head translates into these beautiful works of art and machine is truly amazing! Keep up the good work, Homie!

Thanks for the interview from Northen California bay area. There's many many small shops doing there thing. It's great to get a glimpse of what your working on. I remember when I was going to just about every body shop in Northen California to have them sign a patision to keep the welding program's in the community collages. Now they are all gone. It was really cool to go in all the different shops and buniess see what the builder's were working on. Some of them had team's of workers to father and son own to one man operation.
