Man, I grew up around San Diego when I was young. Very young.... (it goes back to the 60's, when I was in elementary school) What Mike is in touch with is "Sabor Total" he's into a life that is personally expressive and more fun than anything else. "SABOR" does not just mean 'flavor', it is far more than that... ~and that is part of what Southern California taught me

Thanks for keeping the tradition alive (I'll call it) for all to see show it was and is today. My second car was a 50' chev 2 dr. sedan. I lowered it took the chrome off the trunk, bull nosed the hood and had the interior done in tuck and roll. Paint was Empress Metallic Blue and it had Dodge Lancer Spinner hubcaps. What's sad I only have a memory of it as there's no pictures of it finished. All this happened while I was in high school. 1958-1962 when I sold it. I'm 79'now and still appreciate cars like you build. Keep up the great work. Jim

Thanks for the interview from Northen California bay area. There's many many small shops doing there thing. It's great to get a glimpse of what your working on. I remember when I was going to just about every body shop in Northen California to have them sign a patision to keep the welding program's in the community collages. Now they are all gone. It was really cool to go in all the different shops and buniess see what the builder's were working on. Some of them had team's of workers to father and son own to one man operation.

Mike Bello is the real deal. So much talent and vision. You can see it in every video he putts out. A true craftsman that does it all. He may not be building the next winner of the Joker Award. But he builds car we all can appreciate and relate to. Cars we all would love to get in a drive and that what this hobby is all about. Driving and enjoying old cars. Keep up with it, me and a friend of mine started a body shop in the late 80s 90s the rent got to high and the fees for the EPA environment people were coming down on all the shops and wrecking yards in Northen California. So we shut down are shop I went back to trade school became a welder and my friend still paints car's and body work for other shops.

Thanks for documenting! Mike is in his prime! Expert fab and body with a broad understanding of the fundamentals and use of the old and the new! He definitely is Loko and it is only out of that Lokochon that his product becomes CRAZY BEAUTIFUL! I too love the fact that his rides are drivable on these streets today, 19:35 I especially love his shop ride - the cargo wagon!
