Bellroy Card Sleeve, high capacity, but for the price?

I've had one of these for 7+ years, with 8 cards in and it has been used everyday (maybe not so much in the last year thanks to Melbourne lockdowns). It is an awesome, simple, slim wallet and is worth the money given the longevity. It is exceptionally well made of durable, high-quality materials. I have to disagree re. your comment on an elastic pull-tab: over time that would stretch, wear and fray. The leather pull tab retains its shape and functionality and, when pushing the cards back into the wallet, the pull-tab easily retracts every time. I have dark brown and the leather has patina'd beautifully. Every so often I look for another slim wallet but cannot bear to part with this as I do not think there is another slim option out here of this quality.

I know this is an old comment, but would you ever want to upload a picture of your wallet's patina? I got dark brown, and I usually feel like black leather is my thing, but I got brown specifically for the patina, and trying not to feel buyers remorse.

I just received this exact wallet it almost doesn’t feel like leather very slippery. If I don’t use the slit in the back where the pull tab is my cards fall out. So I’m presuming you have to maximize all the pockets so that every card is tight. I have seen this before and it’s not something I really like. I find the the slit at the back is not really for cards since the card interferes with the pull tab. So now I guess I will be forced to use it as a cash slip. I love your reviews and have purchased a number of wallets based on them. My favourites…the port wallet and Benjamin Bott very nice high quality leather wallets. No doubt does anyone else have problems with cards falling out of this wallet. Again I don’t carry 8 cards plus cash so I guess if you stuff this wallet it works great. Any feedback from anyone who has this wallet would be appreciated 🙏🏻

Nice Review Mark. I’ve had a few different Bellroy Wallets and Products over the past couple of years that I’ve enjoyed using. I’m currently using the Note Sleeve but I’m now down to one Card and my Driving Licence so I’m wanting to slim down further now things have went a bit cashless and using Apple Pay etc. so thinking this would be a perfect next wallet. Just going to check a few other brands before deciding though. Keep up the Great Reviews. I enjoy this Channel. 😎👍🏼

Great reviews! It would really help a lot if your video thumbnails showed more of the wallets. They're kinda hard to see if you're searching for a specific type of wallets.

Right now I am doing a long-term carry on the Anson Calder and really like it so far. The leather stretches nicely after a week or so, which opens up capacity. It’s like you can’t even feel it in your pocket.

I'm a huge Bellroy fan and have had their slim sleeve wallet for a few years now. I'm looking to slim down even further as I tend to carry only 3 cards and one emergency bill, and I have this wallet in my sights.

Despite the thinness of the cut of the leather it wears well for most people. The concerns seem to come from quality check issues in their supply chain more so than anything else. It’s small but enough that it’s noticed. If you happen to receive one that is problematic their three-year warranty covers it.

You said you wish it was elastic but when you review the elastic want you said it may fail and probably won’t last as long you confused me on that.

An example of my changing my opinion as I’ve reviewed more wallets. If the wallet is a throw away, I like the elastic, but it won’t be a lifetimer. Non elastic straps will typically last longer.
