The front side/vertical pocket is one of the best things about the original. Think the admin pocket is a downgrade. Loses its ability to swing around on shoulder for quick access to that front pocket

I think the opposite. I don’t like the sideways Admin pocket as much. And the new one seems bigger. But, guess it comes down to personal preference.

Hey Danny, how does the water bottle pocket / harness system / laptop compartment compares between the Transit Workpack Pro 28l vs Able Carry Max EDC 26l? And which one would you personally prefer to be use as an EDC?

Thank you for watching! It does fit but it’s a pretty tall bottle and the top feels tight and like there’s some pressure against the zipper so I would opt for something a little shorter for the 22l bag

Can you measure bags in centimeters when fully packed? Previous transit backpack fitted perfectly into Ryanair box that has only 42cm height, while bag on the site is advertised as 51cm. Can you confirm it is similar now?

tossing up whether to upgrade my previous iteration of the transit workpack 28l. Torn as I am a fan of the new harness and back support, but the organisational pockets seem a bit of a downgrade.

I use my Transit Workpack a lot, the harness system definitely needs the update, but I hate they removed the access pockets, I use them a lot. I won’t be upgrading.

Thank you for watching and for the support! Tough choice as both are great, I find the Bellroy a little more comfortable, but overall I still prefer the layout on the CTB (the one caveat is that I don’t know how I’ll feel about the 20l size since I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet )

I’m considering doing a video comparing some of these new Bellroy options since there’s so many good ones 😅 the main difference between this and the venture is the upgraded harness and the fact that this has a dedicated laptop compartment. The lite travel pack will be able to hold more and the suitcase style main compartment might be nice if your primary use case is travel

the water bottle pocket is a deal breaker. wished it was mesh or have expandable storage to the exterior. slim form factor over functionality i guess
