During the trip to Gubbio it was necessary to make a stop in Norcia, an Italian municipality in the province of Perugia in Umbria which, in October 2016, was severely injured by seismic events. With this video I decided to share the emotions with the same intense, gloomy and sad voice, but full of hope, of the bells, which welcomed us at noon in the Community Center (form) of the "Madonna delle Grazie" near the ruins of the homonymous church. Later we were in the city center where our heart was filled with pain. We have seen the ruins of the churches of Maria Addolorata, San Benedetto, Santa Maria Argentea, San Francesco. After 4 years from my visit and 3 from the earthquake, in which I saw live images on TV in total skepticism, this first-person experience for me (Gabriele) was excruciating. In seeing the wounds that marked the nursini and changed the face of the city I felt a lot of sadness and regret. The remains of the church of Madonna delle Grazie are along the old mule track for Ascoli Piceno, an important road director in the past. The church was erected on the rural aedicule "Madonna delle Vaglie".
The castle of the bells in the square of the Madonna delle Grazie module houses the 2 major bells of the Concattedrale di Santa Maria Argentea, removed from the tower after the earthquake, together with the 2 minor ones (the 3rd bell, before Easter 2017, was mounted in a wooden structure in Piazza San Benedetto and the 4th was placed in a museum). The companies of the "Arvedi" steel group of Cremona in collaboration with the Rotary Club Crema financed the work, inaugurated on November 4, 2017. The Sabbadini plant in Fontanella (BG), is controlled by a Digital Bells - mod 370 of the Belltron. The first marks the hours and the second marks the half hours. The only programmed sound is the expanse of both. The Concattedrale's original concert: 4 bells (OES Brevetti Scarselli - electric strikers Ogiv 3).

We recommend using headphones for more accurate listening.
