The Church of Santa Maria del Carmine, of the Royal Archconfraternity of the same name, is located in Piedimonte Matese, in the province of Caserta. Founded in the 17th century, it is an important place of worship linked to Carmelite spirituality. The building has a Baroque architectural style, with a rich interior decoration. The church is known for its high altar adorned with precious polychrome marble and a venerated statue of the Madonna del Carmine, an object of great popular devotion. Over the centuries, the church has been the focus of many religious and cultural events in the Piedimonte Matese community.
