One of my favorite tracks from Pitter Patter 👍 The video is great, too, especially the kissing firefighters 😆

@@theNTT.StrandedAlien I know you like the kissing firefighters but the question is, what is that all about?

Another great track from Tim's Pitter Patter Album recommend using headphones to hear the detail of how the sound is spread in the stereo mix, video compliments the music well done!

I’m glad you suggested headphones for this!

@@garystenning thank you very much and I appreciate the headphone suggestion. I spend a lot of time getting things to compliment each other and create space and movement in the stereo field so your observation is greatly appreciated.

The difference between midi played instruments & hand played makes such a difference in feel. I arpeggiate my bass parts & maybe one rhythm instrument. Then I just improvise all the other parts. I have difficulty with finding any emotion in entirely programmed EDM type stuff. Not that there's anything wrong with it. I just want to hear playing.

@@johndundas5875 I agree completely. I’ve gradually moved to that approach as well. The only rhythmic programming, really, is writing sequences but I still record everything through a mixer as I find the sound is much more expressive. Other parts are played which means there are potentially minor rhythmic errors, but really, that’s what creates feel. Although I’m using machines, I want the music to feel more human, if possible. Thank you for listening and for your words. 🌞❤️
