You do you m8 but ill warn you, from the beta, both the bag changes and the UI edit are miles away from add-ons that iv been using for years and really don't take up that much mem. You have to understand Bellular suffers from "I need everyone to like me" syndrome and as such he tends to overestimate positives and underestimate negatives.

@@persath Lots of people don't like using add-ons however, as they prefer an official fix as I've seen it put. I'm not personally one of them, but they have it. So he changes here are purely positive, it doesn't affect you or I who use addon's, and nor does it have any negatives for those that will use it.

@@LuxuriaU And i agree that for ppl that don't use add-ons its an improvement, but for ppl that do, like he says he does in his comment, it underwhelming so, my advice is try it out before you go and remove any add-ons; as for not having any negatives i have to disagree, because the changes to the Lua they made to implement this, broke most add-ons and with less and less ppl making and maintaining add-ons we risk losing add-ons that some of us use, also this uses resources, be it man-hours or funds, that could be used in other areas of the game that would benefit everyone.

I hate having to use addons. So in the periods Im in the mood for for example M+, its ZERO point doing it without for example details or the mythic dungeon tool. For me its just a necessary evil. I down periods I dont bother updating addons.

@@persath Wow can be a very buggy game, and there’s been plenty of times that I’ve had to enable addons one by one to troubleshoot. Addons being replaced is just a win win, since you can opt to still use your addons like you probably will.

As far as personal loot, I really hope they have fixed the issue where Outlaw was listed as unable to use daggers. While Outlaw is not required to use daggers, they are still perfectly usable for the spec and loot rolls should reflect that.

I have been using the Bagnon add-on for years and years. Matter fact I have been using that in on so long I cannot remember playing well without it. That on top of bartender add on which allows me to basically make my own single bag widget. I guess I could try the functionality to see how it works. But I don’t feel like with my current suite of add-ons that my performance is really suffering. And if it takes me longer to configure my UI without them I don’t really see the point.

I love all of the new features and the direction WoW is going. Quick question tho to you bellular; Isn’t there some changes in the Appearances aswell? I can remember reading that you can now track dungeon armor and other sets aswell in the appearance tab. On top of that, u can unlock transmog for different armor types even tho you aren’t able to wear it yourself. Nevertheless, good good juicy info again!

Unlocking armor transmog you can't use was a bug. However once you unlock the appearance for one armor type, alts won't need to do the grind to buy it too!

@@andreak7001 I did read on, I think it was Wowhead, that let’s say a Mage does a Legacy raid transmog run; If that mage find any Plate, mail or Leather appearances u haven’t unlocked yet, it will automatically unlock even tho that mage can’t wear it. It’s not a bug, it’s a new QOL feature. Won’t have to buy anything hahah. You can just hop on a Warrior alt and instantly use the new plate appearance you just found with your Mage. Save a hell of a lot time imo

Such features are easily better than the shiny new major box feature. Sometimes we just wanna see something that improves the game and WILL stay on for future expansions (the transmog tab comes to mind as one of those done not too long ago). Also, in general, if Blizzard does somethng that makes us question whether we need a given addon anymore (the way a point was raised with bagnon), then its most likely going to be a liked change. There is a hope that we wonder if we would still need DBM some day..

Interact key has been around since TBC in 2007, I remember using it for queuing to arenas because everyone was stacked on top of the... arena queuing guy (the one that looked like He-man). Come on, it's even in retail now: Game Menu > Key Bindings > Targetting > Interact With Target (9th to last option).

This is a general interact key, you're thinking of 'interact with target'. Targeting isn't necessary for this one. This new one will let you use one key to interact with a quest NPC, turn around and loot a dead body, then mine an ore deposit you run over to, and then open a chest for a quest objective. The current one doesn't do all that.

Not without good reason, it's literally the same key (it even translates the same keybinding from retail to beta) and it's even still called "Interact with target" ( 4:04 ) despite interacting with things not targeted. I'm pointing this out because not many people knows this existed, since it's not even bound by default.

14:56 Had a Boomkin take my agil item on a "mainspec" roll. Clearly the new system has bugs... It alos does not prevent someone in full 300 gear from rolling on 270-90 gear to hand off to his buddy in LFR with him. Funnel looting is now a thing in LFR and really sucks bad for people who solo que.

Couple things that would make the game be simply amazing is: class specific items like totems for shamans, quiver for mm, horn for BM, 1h crossbow for surv, banner for warrior etc etc. Also player housing that has direct interaction with important characters of your faction and more story-choices, who to follow, dark path, light path etc

If you somehow think wasting a keybind on an interact button so you can then fight with the camera angle to highlight whatever you want to interact with instead of the things next to it is more convienent somehow then knock yourself out, lmao.

i dont know how to feela bout the loot changes, its good but i dont know, leaves a sour taste. the resurrection sicknes, while annoying serves a purpose the same as you lose all your souls in from softwares games, you regret that you died, that is now gone, you will Always resurrect now, no matter what, it takes away the thought of "i dont want to fucking die and walk all the way to my corpse" and you may try less harder leading to a more casual friendly mmo. unicorn class next expansion.
