Had a weird one doing the Haerndean liberation. Doing it fairly late, so everyone well armed and fed. Took the town using your method, except stuck my archers behind a fence as a second squad. It was quick, only lost one. Built the belltower and waited for the reclamation group. They took the route you noted. I did it a little different than you, i am not the archer you are. I had a squad of archers, and two squads of melee. Set the first melee squad to do the initial charge while the archers did their thing, then sent the second squad into their flank as they were engaged with the first group. Went well, but after the brigand melee were killed their archers retreated.... and kept retreating. They did not turn, and i did not get the credit for the win. So finally went down the road after them. They went almost all the way back to their origin point then just moved up and down the road with no real purpose. I finally got tired of waiting for them and took down a brigand camp. While doing that the archers suddenly appeared close to me moving north.... and i was able to finally finish the kill. Weird that they retreated to origin though. I appreciate your videos, have learned much from them.

You can create a chest with you best food, and once you have all your team drafted, wit hthe "E" interaction, you make them interact with the chest. They will all fill up their stomach (so the 3 slots) with everything available in the chest. Pretty handy to make them stock-up before going for a raid. Although, if you go for a long raid you'll need to stock their inventory...

Soups the way to go. For 1 meat, sage, water, you get 3 soups. any kind of meat for the meat. but if you make a few cauldrons, you can stack soup. I recruited 2 guys at the beginning went to day 30 researched everything before I built my actual town hall. Idk why but I'm getting clash of clan wibs calling it town halls.

Also you can remove you less desirable villagers it refunds the renown and you can hire the top people in the first village

Would you consider a video on upgrading your followers. I am pretty far along, but not seeing the numbers you seem to have on all 15 of your bunch. Books? Lots of firing/hiring? Hiring in higher level towns?

Not really a quest, but you need to complete a lot of quests to get the friendship level high so you can trigger the bell tower

Try using a warhammer against these troops they have high armor for your sword!

Once they are in squad hit e, then point at mushrooms and select harvest mushrooms. They will all start grabbing them like crazy fast and be good to go

The reason they are eating food so quickly is because you are giving them shitty food. You are giving them raw radishes, potatoes and sticks to eat. Your poor villagers are starving. There is a timer on each food to tell you how long it lasts. Most higher tier foods/dishes last much longer and give better buffs.

Desperate they seem to eat anything but they will be satiated longer with better quality food . Some will have this mentioned in the description like the berry jam as the attribute “satiating” this one is probably the easiest to mass produce in the background

Ofc tier food matters but anyway even with dishes /cooked meat they eat too much.. like meat per pnj per day + dishes or what ever. When you have +10 workers it way more than they can craft or what i/they can hunt so my main activity is too find meat and it’s pretty anoying… ofc i probably don’t have the knowledge for right food but it is crap for non exp players

This is a really fun game, but I hate the villagers food consumption rate. They eat way too much and are constantly hungry. The devs need to tweak their hunger and food consumption rate. Also, a lot of things don't make sense in this game. For example, some tier 2 research requires a specific job profession from the villager otherwise no research can happen. It was pissing me off why no one was researching until I Google search for a solution.

Yes loving this game, the food is a issue especially if you marching your troops, they just leave if hungry :-(

Not so much consumption rate that’s ok if you do better foods it’s good. Need to tweek feeding them. Like give them an order grab x amount of these three things and let’s go to war. Right now you can use the command to the chest but if it’s a big army they can’t all reach and some are full of food some have none. And they don’t grab extras they only fill up their 3 slots and that’s it.

@@gibsonrugwinya8068 after building the town hall you can build a hunter tent or something like that, then they will hunt rabbits, deers and boars as well, didn't had any issues with meat and food after that

Nah the annoying thing is Thatch... you can have someone Gathering Mushrooms and Berries for Food..and be good...and Farming later..
