Conrad was already with Nicole when she got there also Jeremiah stoped Conrad from kissing her by setting the firework off to we’re he almost hit them. Also Conrad had a lot going on to we’re he couldn’t really think, he was dealing with the fact that his mom had cancer again and felt he had to keep it to himself and his dad making him fell like he alway have to pick up after everyone. He also felt unworthy to be with her because of everything he was going through. So no I don’t think Jeremiah is better. Also Jeremiah hooked up with someone to at the beginning too. They both sweet boys. They both have pros and cons. Which is better for her…. For me I am not sure which yet.

You’re not totally right about Jeremiah being okay with not being the first choice. We can see that he’s trying to draw a line between belly and Conrad for example during the fireworks scene when Conrad was going to kiss Belly. I don’t know if you saw in the show the way he is always comparing himself to his brother saying « Conrad is better then me at *something* » so he feels a certain competition. I see Jeremiah as a best friend for Belly not as a lover. If they get together both of them are going to be unhappy. Belly will still be in love with Conrad and Jeremiah isn’t blind so he will see it at some point.

i went into this show completely blind, not having read the books, seen no trailers, so i had no idea who the love interests were. At first i thought the love triangle was going to be between belly/conrad/cam so i didn't pick up on jeremiah being a possibility, i just loved how close they were as friends. But then when it hit me i completely fell for them and even though i don't hate conrad and can see the appeal, i'm simply all for jeremiah because he's just always there for her, it feels safe, right and we need more friends to lovers!! any ways i was so happy to see this vid of you, absolutely stunning and the song choice is cheff's kiss!!

Yes we need more friends to lovers, it felt to me that Conrad and Belly were only friends when they were lovers, and everytime they had an argument there was just no trust to begin with. Trust comes with friendships.

I am team Jelly. I read the books when I was younger and was totally team Conrad but when I read them back before the tv series came out. I flip flopped and was team Jelly. I totally understand why people are team Conrad but even though he was grieving and going through hard times, he took a lot of it out onto Belly and she did the same. They had a teen romance not a forever type of romance. Belly was so fixated on him she didn't see the amazing guys all around her and didn't really get to experience any other relationship because of her fixation. When it came to Cam she was in denial and still fixated on Conrad in my opinion. Jeremiah on the other hand had his flaws in the book but was ultimately better suited for Belly. A lot of relationships are best friend type of loves that develop into something more not at first but later on. They both hold a special part in her heart but I really don't want the books to be the tv show and clearly they are changing a lot already. I am happy for the changes!

I think belly and jeremiah relationship is real feelings and more muture an realistic, and he shows that he cares about her and knows how to communicate his feelings. He also liked her before she turned "pretty" as for everyone else didn't ever realize her before. As for Conrad and belly it's more of her dreaming of having a relationship with her childhood crush, it's not real its "feelings" from when she was a Child, and he clearly showed no interest in her, I also think the reason ppl like him is because of his dark, rude, "bad" boy storyline. but for belly Conrad is toxic he plays with her feelings and expects her to still be inlove, he can be hurting and not play with her feelings. Belly needs to get over Conrad so she can really see how many good gusy are around her but ik that won't happen she will end up with. I'm also so tired of the "no one really forgets their first love" liek it's so annoying they make it seem like people are going to dread over their first love, when most of the time first loves start at really Young high-school love.

I hated how the series portrayed Jeremiah. They made him look like the jealous younger brother who wanted to beat Conrad when in reality even tho he was always second to Conrad he never tried to take anything away from him. The only thing he took from Conrad was belly and now he’s the villain for taking what he wants when Conrad has been pushing her away. Everyone romanticizes Conrad’s flaws but highlight jeres badly.

Beautiful edit ❤️ My old, almost 30 yo ass was thinking at the beginning that they will be endgame and the show will basically tell a story of how their friendship is turning to the next step as they start seeing one another in a different way. But sadly a typical bad boy, toxic type turned last minute romantic is a soft spot for all teen dramas. She and Conrad gas incredible chemistry, that's for sure, but he is constantly hurting her and everyone around and bringing out the worst in her.

On that note, Jeremiah makes pretty clear that he doesn't care for Belly in the books and they often argue in the flashbacks. By contrast in the show. They made quite a lot of changes to Jere's character, so there might be a chance that jelly is endgame, hence justifying his nicer character. As they already changed a lot in the TV show, it will not make sense if they follow the story books now. So still hopeful guys. Team Jelly.

But the thing is that love will always be love and that love is for Conrad because I feel like Jeremiah only started to show his love when she turned “pretty” but Conrad was always nice and he went through so much so he neglected his love because he was scared like Marcus from Ginny and Georgia he broke Ginny’s heart cause he was going through to much so he neglected his feelings it’s very similar and every time belly/Isabella tried to make it work it just didn’t cause something was happening with Conrad and the infinity necklace it was very genuine but belly didn’t take it Conrad believes either way it belongs to her and she thinks the necklace is like as if when she wears it it’s gonna make it weird and Conrad was like portrayed as big brother so he felt like he had to keep everything inside

The ending might still be conrad whatsoever but unlike the book, the show on purpose is making us difficult to choose between the two. Reading the book I was team Conrad, but after seeing the characters come alive in the show, I can't help rooting for Jeremiah. Conrad, even if he doesn't end up with Belly, will still be her first love and childhood crush. But if Jeremiah doesn't, where does that leave him? A friend Belly unexpectedly got involved with and tossed to the side soon after like "nah first love it is"? Really hope the show does him some justice

The thing with Conrad is that I always felt like Belly idolised him. In her head, he was this amazing guy and I don't think she actually liked him, she liked the idea of him. It makes sense considering that she was always the youngest when they went to Cousins and he was the older, cooler guy. I feel like what she had with Jere was more real (and I'm saying this after reading the books as well). Which is why I really hate what Jenny Han did to Jere's character in the third book. He was always the really sweet, caring guy and she just completely flipped it so he became this irrational, compulsive guy. I just like to pretend the third book never happened

I think the show makes it hard for us to decide if which couple we more. At first I was like omg team conrad all the way, then I was team jere but now again conrad, and I believe I will change my opinion so often, but in my heart I know it's conrad. yeah, he did treat her like shit while jere was the gentleman and opened up, he's all what we wish for.
