aircraft spruce or yardstore might have the type of hammer rivets you are looking for. I use hard anodized aluminum rivets for hold downs and body panels.

Maybe add a quick project overview at the beginning to bring people up to date and make them interested in checking out other videos.

Great job with fixing the video format! Cinch bolt for sure! Would have turned the dog bone 90deg to face into the wind?Are you not worried about the sprung weight with engine and driver to setup for the lenght of the dog bone? Awesome progress! Merry Christmas!

Bought a rolling Buick chassis from a guy out in Idaho. That is the base of my 23 Buick custom build.

Editing comment: stop sniffling!!!
@bugigarage10 ай бұрын
I have been sick and it’s been cold. I will try to control the sniffing if possible. Figured that was better than snot dripping out of my nose. I will do better…

Consider it a drinking game. Every time I sniff, you drink. Enjoy.

@@bugigarage all good! Sometimes you’re so close to the project (video making) you don’t think about it or notice it. Please don’t see this as a dig, was meant as « positive criticism » !! You got a cool project there Man 🤘

No worries. Just trying to make good content. Still learning. Probably doesn’t help that the external mic is on my shirt so even closer.

Bad idea not having rear suspension, Anything other than a straight line, and you will have issues
@bugigarage5 ай бұрын
Appreciate the comment. This isn’t a drive around town car. Typically made for straight line runs 95% of the time in sand or salt flats. The other 5% will be for shows etc. Not worried at all about it honestly. I am thinking of building another tank with independent suspension, fuel injection etc since this one is trying to hold to the 30s 40s 50s era.
