Merry Christmas KZbin!
I really can't express how lucky of a find this was. I just happened to wake up early this day and figured I might as well go film Belmont's Condor Autoreach I've seen run this route before. As I turned into the area, I saw this truck enter behind me and I went to turn around and wait for him to finish a couple stops down some long dirt roads, and I noticed the tailgate. This was a truck I've tried multiple times to film and went by the yard, only to ever see their Condor Autoreach and their Curotto Can as a spare. For about a year I've just assumed this truck was scrapped since I've never seen it, but lo and behold I finally happened upon it by chance.
For those who don't know, this is an Ex-Phoenix WhiteGMC Heil curved-shell DuraPack 7000. What really makes this truck unique is its knuckle grippers and curved arm. The 7000 Area used to run as a spare is the only other setup like it on KZbin. Years ago, Phoenix used to run a whole fleet of these trucks only now very few remain in the hands of Patriot Disposal and Taylor Waste, both companies use them as last resort spares. After several long drives up to Prescott in hopes of the off chance of finding one, this truck turns up only 45 minutes down the freeway from me.
I certainly hope you all enjoy this rare treat as Jaccob and I have already failed once at refinding it, so the chances of more video of this rare and amazing sounding truck are very slim. I also hope my new camera provides a noticeable improvement in video quality.
