I found your channel today, and I'm so glad I did. You're a great teacher, and a very beautiful lady as well. I'm 53 years old, I've suffered from fear and anxiety for over 15 years, I believe all this came upon me dealing with my son's drug addictions and other hard life experiences... But I watched your video today on how to overcome fear & live victoriously ; and it was a big blessing. I thank you for your faithfulness by planting good seeds into my (our) lives. God bless you ! Wow! Very eye opening. I can relate with the job portion. I’ve been looking for a new job for years. I am very qualified but I would either not get called for an interview or would get the interview but not the job. I know in my heart God is calling me to a different avenue of work but I’ve been so afraid to step out and do what he has called me to do. But this year I’m going to step out in faith. Thank you for listening to the Lord and being such an inspiration to me and so many others. Your content truly helps me in my walk with God 💕💕

@JOHNELLE SOLA Wow!!! I can relate to your testimony! Are you sure your resignation was a mistake? Did you feel peace or ambivalence when you took that decision? I felt i made a mistake in the immediate aftermath of unemployment too...but in the moment felt like I could not overcome the circumstances of my job that bogged me down...I knew even then that I was very immature in my relationship with our Heavenly Father and was not leaning upon Him but focusing on the hardships...There are of course certain jobs that are so challenging we can never say "yes" to them without being one with Jesus!!! We always need to weigh what will bring more Glory to God...to keep our oath even if in misery and incompetence or to break our oath and remove the tension from our lives and lives of coworkers, etc.? May we all become stronger in our relationship with Our Lord and Father so we can Know His Will, Hear His Voice and walk in His Way and be Filled by His Holy Spirit in Jesus name. Amen.

Amen, our prayers are already factored into God’s plain because He is a sovereign God. He love’s heartfelt prayers and thank God for the Lord’s Prayer our blue print. Another great blessing is the Holy Spirit who advocates on our behalf, God is good all the time.💕 Romans 8:26

This video is a few years old so idk if you'll see this notification but if you do..I've been searching for advice tonight on prayer & hearing from God. I'm new-ish to my faith and I already feel like life (hard times) are making me question everything. My small business has been struggling so badly in 2022 and I feel like my entire life is falling apart. I've been praying, studying and reading scripture for answers. At first, I felt on fire for His word, to learn more to seek Him. However, week after week... I just feel like my prayers aren't being heard.

I enjoyed the video. There were so many key points you discussed that stood out to me. I loved when you talked about God‘s will and how that you didn’t want to be a stay at home wife and mom. But, it was God‘s will and now you have a job that you love while being at home. God knows what we need. He knows us better than we know ourselves. That’s why it is good to pray and not just ask for things that we think we want, but ask for his will. Thank you for sharing this. 🙏🏾💗

On top of having relationship with God and showing gratitude, Prayer is the way to surrender our free will and give God full access to our lives. With free will some decisions we make are not aligned with God's sovereign will and which results in suffering. (Suffering here is our ego been hurt as things did not go our way). Surrendering free will through prayer would mean giving full control to God, which does not result in suffering because, we don't blame ourselves as much when the outcome is not what we desired, but the outcome in both scenarios is still the same. In addition to prayer, a true faith would give us peace as we acknowledge the outcome to be God's sovereign will.

First I would like to give My Heavenly Father Praise this day! Sister, this is so true as I listen to your testimony. I myself struggle on this through my journey as babe in Christ. Why pray when the My God knows and see all? When you spoke of P.R.A.Y. it made perfect sense! I needed to stop yet again leaning on my understanding but My Lord's! Walk by Faith not by sight! I agree with everything you said about the reason for prayer and I really appreciate your message but may I add one other reason for prayer: we are in a spiritual warfare the likes of which as human beings we cannot imagine....when you read the scriptures about the elements of spiritual darkness and the evil that lurks seeking to destroy us, we begin to see the NECESSITY of prayer even though we may not understand how it works but God tells us to pray without ceasing because this battle is real and prayer is what helps fight the battle.

From Priscilla Shirer's "Fervent" P-raise R-epentance A-sking Y-es to God's Promises...being in agreement with His Truth. WHY SHOULD WE PRAY? 1. To Develop Relationship w God. Prayer is a platform for communication. Without Communication w God we will not Grow/Flourish our relationship w Him. 2. It's about changing us...through the process of prayer, our heart condition (desires, perspectives, outlook) is changed. Aligning our desire/Surrendering to God's Will. "Not my Will but Your Will be done." We are strengthened, sanctified, surrendered through prayer...We find Peace and Encouragement through Prayer. 3. To Petition God to release His Power...To Actualize our Confidence, Trust, Faith in Him bcz Prayer requires Faith...because we don't know what His Response will be Prayer empowers us to be Bold in and Vulnerable with God as we make our Requests known and wait for His answer(s)/outcome. 🙏I think Prayer is an opportunity to be HUMBLE and also to ESCAPE. We ask Him for GUIDANCE and PROTECTION like the title of Psalm 25 in my Bible. Prayer allows us to CONSULT with God bf we Make our own Move in our own strength. Proverbs 3:5-6. We run to God bcz He is our Hiding Place Psalm 61:1-4...we REFUEL when we Become Staid upon Him. 🍭I struggle with getting distracted easily (anxiety?) and with prayer (crying out to Him) so I relish 🍨this topic and loved how you delivered/treated the topic, Sr. Christina . I was wondering if you could say a prayer for me. I’ve been out of work for 9 months now. I know and believe that our Lord Jesus has a plan for me, but at this point it’s starting to get hard to keep a blind faith, since I have no income and the bills keep coming. I know for sure I’m not to go back to the field I’m in, since I feel with all my being that’s not for me. So, my prayer has been of guidance and wisdom to find my purpose on how to serve our Lord, my fellow human and mother nature in the best possible way. Thank you so much. Many blessings.

How are you sis, my concern how do a Christian plans her life???? As we say God has a purpose for us, & only predestined our lives according to his purpose & grace, how am I to plan & make sure plans are in right order with God's plan

One of my pet peeves is when people say God didn't answer their prayer just because He didn't give them the answer they wanted. I was always told when I was younger that God will answer in either a yes, no, or not now. All three are still answers even if it's not what we want to hear.

If God was on knowing and all-powerful meeting only he knows what's going to happen he's responsible what's going to happen. It's like an author with a character in a story. The author will know what the carrot is going to do in the author will make the care to do what it chose to do. So in a way God causes the good and the bad stuff happen.
