Because that's how the society is made. When the subprime crisis from USA been a world wide economic crisis, millions of people lost job and money around the world. You think anyone went to jail for a long time ? Also people who benefit the society because they create jobs or invest in areas that need the money , are seen positively by the government and they never get into big trouble.

Drunks in the water are an emergency. It took 4 of us to pull a fully dressed, blacked out chap who had fancied a dip between two hulls when we were moored stern on. We had to snag him with boat hooks and two of us were injured keeping everyone safe. He just moaned about his hangover!

It was like watching an uncomfortable game of chess to see who's going to checkmate the other player. Unfortunately for Leon, Lee isn't interested in playing games on his ship! LEON...YOU'RE FIRED!

Ryan and Leon were both so egotistical. That is NOT a quality you want in a chef on a luxury for-hire yacht. They, like all the other crew members, are there to fulfill the wishes of the guests who are paying tens of thousands of dollars to rent the yacht, which means paying your salary. That means that you have to get out of bed to make a snack for a guest, then that's what you do. If it means that the guest wants scrambled eggs when you've made a gourmet feast, you make them scrambled eggs. Other yacht chefs have done it.

All ship mates and viewers can witness how great of a Captain she really is. For a woman to start in this industry when she did is truly amazing. These cast members are usually the bottom of the barrel in the yachting world when it comes down to it. Qualified, yes. But they're hired for their reckless personalities and looks, not being a consummate professional. Look no further than malia. Glenn is by far the most experienced and professional. He has to be with the vessels he deals with. Worked on different size vessels from fishing tuna, yatchs, to cargo ships. Jist my opinion from the shows edit.

The one issue I had was: when Capt Lee fired Leon. It was Kate’s fault. Leon was asleep. So she took it upon herself to make the guests a pizza. Kate should’ve checked the stove before putting the pizza in.

I think Captain Jason is trying to do things really quick and fast, that could be a safety issue when your crew is fairly new at working together. Its too many moving parts at one time. I feel like the bosum has a valid point.
