I heard Captin Lee say that out of all the back pain issues that he has, one of them was stenosis. I had that and had the surgery for it. The stenosis causes you to lose feeling in your legs and the pain is hell! The surgery I had, they put brackets in my spine to keep the area where the stenosis was open. Stenosis is when there is a pinch on the nerves in your spine and stuff gets numb. This happens generally from age. Mine started young. I was in my late 40s when it happened. There is light at the end of the tunnel. I hope he’s doing well and is able to live a life without pain. *edit-spelling error

Capt Lee after 3rd surgery can honestly say it will get better but nerve damage sucks all of sudden leg falls out .Just do strengthening exercises..I'm sorry for your pain..

A view from the UK. As once heard about Capt. Lee: I used to be conceited, but i'm perfect now. Having watched a few of these "Below Decks" young Mr Lee would benefit enormously with basic management training. Never, ever have i seen him sitting in on either dec or cabin crew daily briefings. All he seems to do is sit in the wheelhouse twiddling his radio. He then takes as gospel what he chief stew or bosun tell him. Never once has he been on a post charter night out to see how they behave. This never more apparent in season 7 i think, with a numpty called Ashton as Bosun and his confrontations with Ryelee. No wonder he's not on boats anymore. No Mr Lee, i don't think YOU are doing your job properly, get some supervisory training soon. Correct me if i'm wrong but training to become a boat captain does not involve man management training.

The only time anyone gets hurt on any ship he commands is because they didn't follow his orders & thought they knew better/more than him. He's very knowledgeable and very serious about his job...because he has to be...lives depend on it. I wouldn't want anyone else other than Captain Lee as my captain if I ever went on one of these excursions. I know my life & the lives of everyone with me would be in the most capable hands. Could truly sit back, relax & enjoy my vacation with no worries.

Lee roasts a young crew member for swimming off the boat without a shirt whilst the guests were ashore and then he appears later in the episode, himself, shirtless on the bridge, looking awful. He should keep his skin display for his cabin. 🦨🦨🦨🦨🦨
