@@journeylvr Force? Don't know about that, I remember watching season 8. I think it was? Of the original series, when Lee was having problems with his leg, and had to leave the boat. I'm sure the rules for captains state that they have to be able to access just about every part of the boat without too much trouble. Have no idea of the actual rules, I'm just guessing. But also, I mean he's been doing it for so long, it's time for he and his wife to spend his retirement years together. So he could be playing this up in the media a bit.

If he wants to stay in entertainment, well then I guess he could try to get on other shows, I mean he has a podcast and maybe even something else going on so he still has viewers

He stated he was "very surprised" when they didn't renew his contract and a little hurt that no one made a call to give him a thumbs up. They made that little show with him and Kate where they try to promote other Bravo shows and it is horrible. I understand why they let him go, he was having mobility issues and her has had heart valve surgery. He slipped in the shower and broke his ribs that one time also. He is a liability. I much prefer him over Sandy though, she contradicts herself too much.

You are crazy. Once he leaves shes in charge until he returns. She doesn't know when that will be. It's her responsibility to have that crew up to par. Which she did by his return. When he left they were falling apart and she stepped in and fixed the crew. If lee could've actually done his duties till that point he'd have done the same or I hope so. He was incapable and she stepped in and performed admirably and fixed Frasier when he couldnt fix himself.

Captain Lee was busy , with his health problems and physical therapy everyday. Captain Sandy couldn’t bother him with crew problems. Captain Lee would have packed Alyssa’s suitcase if he heard her say HE SUCKED DECK CREW DICKS…LOL!!!

Captain Sandy is awesome. She works in a male dominated profession and I feel she has handled her job very well, professionally yet assertive. You have to. Look at last season how that other yacht was close by and the captain of that yacht was very belittling because he was talking to a woman. Go Sandy.

Captain Lee was too busy at physical therapy everyday, to worry about the boat. He had bigger worries. I’m disappointed in him.I really think his big EGO took over. Maybe he wasn’t asked back because of his bad health, and maybe contract negotiations $$$$$$$.

Here's my take on the two Captains: It appears to me that Capt. Sandy does too much hand-holding and gets too emotionally involved with her female stews. I think she handles them with too much softness right up to the point where she comes down hard and fires them. A Bosun has the authority to give orders to his deck crew but has no authority to administer disciplinary measures to them when they're insubordinant or failing to perform. That's the Captain's job because only he has that authority. However, Capt. Lee sternly tells his Bosun's to handle their personel problems on deck but never backs up his Bosun's when disciplinary measures from the Captain are in order. Not only is this not fair but it also creates more chaos on the deck.
