This is the first chef who has no clue what lane he is in . He consistently is put in a defensive position and also of catching up when all he has to do is WAKE UP , look around and know where he is working , look to enjoy making food for the charter guests ….. the food is literally the main focus of these yachting experiences! It also puts more work on the rest of the crew with his awful attitude. This chef has no business being on a boat !

the chef needs to realize the guests have preference sheets and they get to eat what they want, and not what he wants to make them. he thinks they are at his house and they will eat whatever he is serving. at 1;18 he says "let's not let the guests know what they are having for dinner". it's THEIR charter. they will eat what THEY want.

This is the worst chef on below deck. All the rest of them, actually, make food that the guests enjoy. And all stews tell the guests what they're having. And the other chefs come up and speak with the guests. He didn't even want to, until the captain told him to.

What on earth is Ryan’s problem? While yes, a lot of chefs have an ego I’m not arguing that! They also know that if you’re preparing food for a set group of people who have given their preferences pre-boarding AND previously voiced they do not want fish you simply do not serve them fish. Does he not understand this is not his restaurant where he can set the menu and refuse to do substitutions? It’s a freaking charter, guests make the decisions. Actual chefs on these shows while they do get heated they also rise to the occasion and deliver beautiful food in a timely manner.
