On 22 February 1997, ITN was allowed exclusive access to the crew quarters of Queen Elizabeth II's Royal Yacht Britannia. Cameras captured the crew’s painstaking efforts as they prepared the Royal Yacht for an evening reception, with navigators at work on the bridge, laundrymen washing and pressing linens, and kitchen staff preparing the evening’s menu.

I would love to visit the Britannia the only problem is that I am across the Atlantic Ocean in North American in the USA but one day I am going to fly over there and visit her because I have been to London twice one for pleasure and the other for the Coronation and the Gold State Coach had the prettiest tires 🛞 I have ever seen. 🇺🇸🤝🇬🇧 🇺🇸🤝🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The staff had to wear slippers or soft shoes when the Royal Family were on board so probably easier to be barefooted in the crew quarters.

This is real old news & not up to date. The last royal yacht, HMY Britannia, was decommissioned in 1997 & sold off. This was the last royal yacht plus just 1 of a few “Royal Yachts” in use at the time & prior and part of the 83 yachts owned & used throughout the late monarchy’s reign, RIP QEII💐& ? prior monarchies.. until 1997. Just a lil FYI + U should guess this is the HMY Britannia & crewed by soldiers of the Royal Navy.🛥️ 💜✌️🦋🏇 Btw: reason for ‘no more royal yachts’? simple: Conservation-Save Our Planet 🌎🥰

How is that unusual? Washing hands is a thing.

thoroughly washing your hands with soap and water before, during, and after working with food is actually better than gloves. many times people put on gloves without washing their hands so you have “dirty hand in the glove” that has undetected holes touching food, leave one item and touch another without changing gloves or washing hands. wearing gloves became popular during the pandemic and still is needed, but nothing beats good ol’ soap and water
