Princess Diana in Zimbabwe: Rare Uncut Footage (1993) | Royal History

On this day in 1993, Diana, Princess of Wales carried out engagements on the third day of her visit to Zimbabwe. Diana visited a local ruin before travelling to the International Red Cross feeding station at Nemazuva Primary School. There, she was welcomed with traditional dancing and gifts before she lent a hand feeding the primary school pupils of Nemazuva.

Not Diana’s preference but Royal requirement on dress attire. I find it in poor taste to have her in an outfit that the cost would feed those people for a year. Old saying , when in Rome do as Romans do should apply, even to the RF. Get in there, hands on and gather/cook the meal, eat with them wearing clothing under thousands of dollars!

I know it's trivial to talk about her hair, but my nan had that haircut at the time, she was 73 but probably following the trends I love how these videos are like a portal to the past, the way they are uncut makes it feel as if we're actually there
