Nice explanation of the "tumble". Nobody did that move better than Hogan. But I find that if the clubshaft is on the same vertical plane angle as the left arm at the top, then its pretty hard to get too under plane through impact. However, if the clubshaft is above the left arm plane ("across the line") at the top then the clubshaft is easily forced into an in-to-out plane on the downswing. You can make up for it with rotation and tumble, but I wouldn't overlook the position at the top.

Thanks for the tumbling explanation. I am really struggling with the swing making sense in terms of what I 'm feeling and with how the club behaves. As Any hints or gems (like tumbling was for the downswing) on how I can get my left hand (top hand) to think in the follow through to finish. Thanks again Brian. Cheers
