Useful vid for beginners. My additional tip is to use a soft pencil case for tees, markers, etc so they don't float around the bag pockets.

I agree about the woods going up top and the wedges going in the bottom. That said, people who ride the carts a lot, it's more easier to have the drivers in bottom and wedges on top, only because you're using your irons more than you do your woods. Which is why cart bags look the way they do.

Nice tips... I'd add using Ziploc bags or draw-string bags for tees and another for loose balls. Also, always keep the case/sleeve your glove comes when you buy it. At the end of your round, put the glove back in the sleeve rather then just bunched up like an old rag. The glove will last a lot longer and keep it's shape.

Nice vid. An observation: This is a good setup for when you're carrying the bag. However if you are putting the bag on a cart then you probably will want to reverse the position of your woods and your wedges. When loaded on a cart, the handle of the bag is usually facing out and the collapsible legs facing in. If you don't reverse the position of your woods and wedges, your woods will block your view of the other clubs.

I keep like 4 new golf balls that I’m scared to hit in fear of losing , along with about 17 random balls I’ve found in the same spot you keep your balls, but I also have a bunch of random tees , and like 3 old crusty gloves. In the other side pocket I have my range finder , and my driver head tool that I never use . Other than that .. clubs all in the spot you have them! Good shit 👍🏽

Been needing this video...agreed...nothing more frustrating than anxiety of not finding the club u need right away! I will use your club organization technique...think the most challenging part is to put the clubs u use on the course back in the correct slots also. Surprised u did not address WHERE to put the club covers? I now take them all off after getting to the golf course, and put them in a dedicated deep pocket. My personal challenge is ADDING more new clubs to my bag...2 iron, hybrid, 3 and/or 5 wood, blade and mallet putters, several wedges.....I am a novice at golf...like trying diff clubs...will whittle down qty of clubs ...depending on course I play.....Been pretty good w pocket organization, nearly same as u suggested. I learned from this video...I need a lot less balls, tees....need a snack, separate my water bottle, maybe put clip on it, hang off a ring...reminds me to hydrate more, probably need an extra glove, always forget markers. Been thinking of a bag w individual club dividers that go all the way down the bag to reduce club chatter and damage. New subscriber, great content, wish u luck!

Below Par I tried...keeping woods covers....and I even use iron covers...on during a game...but would lose or forget them...now...I just leave iron covers on, just easier to find them, but w your club organization technique, will only use them during car transport or in storage....been learning to put bag rain cover on in the garage, just to keep garage dust off...clubs much cleaner!

And i put my water bottle in the same spot he did. I put valuables in the large pocket. But i like his way too.

So, I just started golfing & searching "how to" videos, this came up. I thought to myself, "Self?! Why not check it out!" It made me feel good to know there's been ONE thing I've been doing right! LoL

The one item that gets overlooked most is the towel; the state of some people's club faces by the turn in the winter or wet weather defies belief. It's as if it is somehow 'unmanly' to clean a club head. I rotate two 18 inch square towels - anything larger drags in the mud - and always have a face-cleaner in my pocket.

2 towels is great in wet weather, used to love dangling a towel in my umbrella if I was ever using a trolley, keeps it dry and easy to access 🙌😃

Good content. Can not carry bags any longer due to bad disk in middle of back, nothing too bad but hurts so either trolley or cart. And always drop your wedge on the fringe of the green between hole and bag to not walk away from it. Btw. You need an external mic with wind protection
@JoeLoveryGolf4 жыл бұрын
Divedown25 Thank you for the comment, an external mic we are investing in as we speak, this (Hobby) has grown significantly in a short period of time! This will happen! Thank you again for watching and taking the time to comment ☺️

Below Par Getting there! I think the most interesting thing I am thinking about is Open Stance v Closed Stance v Square stance! I get that it is easy to draw the ball by setting up square to target, dropping by r foot back and swing to the l’ho of an intermediate point. BUT - I see guys hitting draws from noticeable open stances as well! Do they do it only for more/easier rotation? Hogan did both, Nicklaus played more and more open as he got old and Bobby ones talked about it - but no vision. Any ideas?

Marc Manion interesting point, I also feel as long as the physics match up it’s whatever feels most comfortable. For example to hit a draw the club has to be moving to the right of target with a face that is closed to the path but open to the target. For a lot of players they will feel it’s easier to swing along their feet line, however some older players might want to open up to feel the club move away and release. Let me have a chat with other Joe and we will see what we can come up with 😊

Firstly, you are the only video I have seen on bag organising in relation to club order. I have a 14 division cart bag & arrange my clubs in the same order except the putter goes in the last by my wedges. If you now put our bags on a push cart, the irons sit above & then the heads rest on the woods shafts. That's why I have covers on all of my clubs to prevent any damage from knocking together whilst moving. Bag club order though is personal preference how & where they are placed in a golf bag. Maybe it's just OCD to arrange them in numerical order.
