Hello, I have a similar device and would like to test the function in a non-installed state like you. How did you connect the electricity regulation. Voltage with a power pack at the connection battery + and battery GND - / 12V right? at the power connection. I tried but the device won't boot? It would be nice if you could help me. dieter

I advice you just connect it to your car. Yellow 12V and Red wire 12V and GND wire to power the head unit.
