I need to go on a ruck march to fully test it but I took the hip belt off my large Molle II rucksack and have it sit on top of my PLCE belt. I am taller but it could work for others.

What's old is new. Vietnam era gear will most likely be the best for us guerrillas in the U.S. I still have a slick plate carrier, if I need armor, but I keep the back plate in a pocket of my ruck.

If you're already carrying the weight, put that damn plate in it's carrier. You gunna take the time to stuff that thing in the carrier when you get engaged? No. No you aren't. Don't be stupid and ruck weight that you don't need in a ruck.

Depends who you are. Are you Delta or SWAT? Those dry fire were important. Otherwise? I don't know man....
