If I buy an AT board can I just add other wheels later or do I have to also buy gears and covers too. I want AT wheels but I’d prefer a different type of street wheels than what comes with the AT + Street package.

Glen Young You will also need to purchase street gears, belts, and covers. Although the covers aren’t overly important but do help preserve the life of the belts and prevent stuff getting caught between the motor gear and the belt.

If the battery on the board dies while riding, can I use my board as a regular longboard (like a regular skateboard without motors)?

Yes you can. The boards are heavier though so harder to push.

I'm 1,200 mile in (stock bearings) and I use a bones bearing cleaner with denatured alcohol. Have some sand or kitty litter to pour your alcohol into after you are done so that it can evaporate properly while not causing any harm to repertory systems. Drop some bones speed cream (2 drops) in each bearing, close them up and remount. In a few hours the denatured alcohol will have evaporated and you can put a lid on your sand or kitty litter until next time.

Its been raining for two weeks and my board is sitting with a fully charged battery ! I need a ride ! Should I just Bench run it to reduce battery as its kinda stored waiting for the rain to stop?

Maybe it came with the board and I lost it but if it helps anyone here you go. I recently had to do some work on the motor gear and didn’t have the correct allen wrench. So if you need to remove your motor gear purchase a 1.5mm wrench. Also before you try loosening the pin heat the gear with a heat gun first to loosen the loctite so you don’t strip it. Skate on!

I’ve have my carbon gt for over a year now, I had problems with the remote in the past but got a new one and that seem to have solved them. Unfortunately the same issues are back, sometimes when I’m riding the remote looses the connection with the board and I can’t either accelerate or break. I live in New York City and if my board is not sync up a 100% with the remote, well, that translates into trouble. I’ve had small accidents in the past but so far I’ve been very lucky. Does anyone in the sk8 community know of a solution or a recommendation? Thanks.
