I bought a cheap eBay GoPro accessory case being smaller than what came with the board. Chuck a spare wheel in when out on ATs, charger, spare belts, spare remote, and a new set of bearings. Sometimes strap it to the deck, most of the time in a backpack which keeps everything organised/tidy.

Awesome guys ! Could you do a video on hard to take out bearings? I’ve tried with my axel on the trucks but actually damaged the threads now. It’s coming out of an aluminum rim and others is there another way without damaging the axel or bearings your taking out ? I’ve been looking at bearing extractors for blind hole but haven’t purchased

WD40 silicone dry lube on your bushings is great! It lubricates while remaining dry leaving no sticky residue which tends to be a magnet for dirt and road grime. I keep a spare set of wheels as well. It is always best to replace wheels in a pair. For example, if only your front right needs to be replaced, rotate both of your rears to your front and throw the new set of two spares on your rear. This does require you to have two additional fully built wheels including the tires, tubes and rims but will also insure that you’re getting even wear and a smooth ride. You also need to mind the tread direction and tube stem orientation which also leaves you replacing both fronts or both rears, never the two lefts or two rights. It requires more of an initial investment but puts you back on the board faster, keeps your ride balanced and even and is totally worth it.

Ricky - you can use soap scrapings on your bushes to stop squeaking and it collects less dirt - (Tip from Evolve)

Pivot cups* (bushings it's worth still using something less dry.) Evolve (AU at least) still stand by lithium grease over soap shavings but they do keep it quiet for much longer for the reasons you've stated.

Hey average estate reviews i’m buying a evolve carbon GT board locally and it doesn’t come with a charger and the board is dead so i have to buy a charger and they’re out of stock do you know if the evolve carbon gt uses the same charger as a booster board so i can use that to test ride it?

I just anti-bac wipe my board down after every ride. That’s all you need to do plus oil/clean the bearings if they become noisy. I’ve had my evolve bamboo GTX for two years & I’ve never even had to tension the belts.

Lanolin is a better oil for the bushings . And I use a nail brush for the deck . But all up not bad .

I would advise against soaking your entire wheel in soapy water like that. Depending on the material of your hubs and your screws and nuts, this could make it rust. Just use baby wipe or a brush and dust it off. It's a wheel, it will get dirty immediately when you ride anyhow. Also, be careful with pouring boiling water over grip tape. Yes, it's great for lifting up dirt and grime, but it can also affect the adhesive under your grip tape, especially if you are going to rub it aggressively with grip tape cleaner while heating up the grip tape. A steamer would be better since the heat doesn't penetrate as much. Overall, just be careful with getting anything wet, since it introduces rust and corrosion. It's okay for your board to be a bit dirty, so you don't need to be too crazy with cleaning it either. Make sure you put your board in front of a fan or blow dry it if you are going to get it wet. Do not just leave a wet board to sit and air dry, since depending on where you live, this could take way too long and the moisture could get inside some of the seals.

Loose the belt covers, my experience is less junk in the belts. They serve a legal purpose, or for kiddos who like to stick their fingers in places they shouldn't.

idk how i feel abou splashing all that water especially on a wooden deck where it can soak in and damage it in the longrun. stick to a spray bottle and mayeb not splash a bucket on it.
