Awesomeness mate! I wonder if you could use this to grind the bevels one at a time for swords or daggers? Hope your well - cheers!

Rick Rabjohn I’ve seen people touch up dagger faces with a very small wheel attachment, letting the radius of the wheel cut their plunges. Could work you’d just be best suited using a very small wheel from what I’ve seen or you’ll get enormous plunges

Hello from Australia,, i followed your belt grinder build last year and built one for myself,, works awesome,, thanks for putting it out there,, now i am gonna build this surface grinder attachment as it looks like an awesome set-up,, i am sick of the hit and miss of trying to get my blades true after forging on the platen freehand,, your surface grinder set-up is the best i have seen so-far,, my only question is,, do i need to run the large contact wheel or can i get away with the small wheel, just wondering??

Hi There, I guess a bigger wheel is better for the job, but no reason a small wheel wont do it. Cheers

was going to build a horizontal one to run along a big rest, the chuck would have been more work though
