I live in Wisconsin and we've been having temps in 20s, with wind chill either single digits or negative; and it's only halfway through November. I work in a barely heated shop all day as an auto mechanic, where I occasionally have to go outside also. I would love a Milwaukee heated jacket! Thanks for the informative video!

It helps a lot no matter you are a framer, plumber or electrician. A lot of time, we work in conditions with just the frame work with no insulation or Sheetrock. Even in the not so cold California, working in such conditions during winter is not fun. I highly suggest this jack to everyone in the trade.

Mike Bihg out of my Truck...... I have my truck set up to do mobile install/ repair on vehicles, RV’s of all types, and home audio/ electronics /smart home items etc. if you have ever worn one of these things......after lunch when the sun comes out on the right day even without the heat they are hot enough you are sweating bad. I wear fitted under armour most days so I’m used to shedding the jacket for a few hours. So it got tossed in the back seat or right in the bed of my truck on top of my tool box drawer system and next morning went to grab, and gone. Drives me nuts, I checked and I don’t think it was an issue of “misplacing” it.... my customers would tell me. So that narrows it down to another contractor or hired guy. Next one I will get embroidered with logo or something. This and my Knipex Pliers wrench are the only 2 things I have had come up missing. Pliers wrench never even made it 48 hours! Never got to use them so I don’t even know if I like the damn things enough to buy another pair.

I have the hoodie, my wife has the shell jacket. They are MEH at best. We work outside and in the winter you can’t even feel the heating elements. The only way you can feel them is if it’s on high, your wearing a lightweight shirt, and another something over top of them. If you are layered up you will not even be able to tell it’s on. Here’s my layering to put this into perspective. Cotton tank/beater, long John or fleece thermal base layer, thermal long sleeve, then hoodie. And I can’t feel the heating elements. If I go inside, or sit in my truck to warm my feet and hand, after about 5-10 minutes and the pressure of sitting against the elements you will feel them. But once you get back out into the cold. Nope. One thing I found that works is to wear a tank top, lightweight dry fit type shirt, heated hoodie, then another hoodie on top. Then I can feel the heat. But at that point the two hoodies is cumbersome and hard to work in. Oh, not to mention that M12 battery and adaptor is like carrying a brick in your pocket. Or rib cage I should say as they have the pocket in a weird spot. It’s a great hoodie for sitting around a camp fire, at a hockey rink, driving in the truck, etc. but for actual outdoor work use. I would not recommend.

I purchased an M12 Toughshell coat and the zipper already pops apart when you zip the coat up. It has barely 3 months of use. It's still under warranty but after nearly 10 months I'm not sure I can find the receipt. Very disappointing for a over $200 coat. Any advice besides never buying Milwaukee products again? I love it until I found how weak the zipper is. I have a $100 carhartt coat thats 20 years old with no holes and a perfect zipper and I use it for heavy labor every day.

I tell you what you guys had me when I clicked on your video because I too just bought one for work 😂 I was actually upset for a minute! Haha but on a serious note I bought one of the heated hoodies for my work I am an HVAC technician and plumber and oh man this hoodie comes in handy! Just one situation where it shined the most, I was servicing a rooftop unit for no heat on a chilling day it was 25 degrees out with the wind chill made it feel like 10! All I had in the van was my thick jacket and Milwaukee winter hat! I quickly through a battery in my hoodie put the jacket on as an over layer and man I was sweating 😂! Worked great 👍 pair it up with insulated Milwaukee gloves and it's perfect! All I use is Milwaukee for my everyday job and my side business! Great tools and awesome customer service 👍. I really enjoyed the video too! Great job you guys!

The Milwaukee jacket isn’t worth a damn in proper cold climates. I’ve had better heated cheap Chinese jackets, I had great results with these Chinese jackets, like here in Ireland, I bought quite a lot of Milwaukee heated jacket products, the battery was a nuisance and the heat quality was poor in comparison to modern cheap Chinese jackets, I used to think Heated jacket technology was trash, until I got a cheap jacket for Christmas, and have never looked back. Unfortunately I purchased quite a lot of the Milwaukee jackets and one go, And regretted the decision, as a work jacket it’s very strong sturdy and takes abuse, the Seams field on one jacket, Its a good work jacket, But the heat quality was poor. I live in Ireland, it’s cold here, chinese crap for the win on this one.

I bought 3 of them for the family....worst purchase of my life. I absolutely feel no heat in the cold...only feel when it's warm outside...useless. Washing on delicate with air dry and 75% of elements now dead. I am disgusted with the jacket every time I put it on with only 1 pocket left that works. And I'm a Milwaukee fanboy too, with about $30k worth of Milwaukee tools.

@@ToolShow While I'm sure they would make it right...I never get around to returning anything. Of all the Milwaukee stuff I own there's only been a few real duds. The first version of the M18 hole hawg comes to mind...they geared it wrong or something and won't drill a hole through a 2x4 hardly. Every other tool is still in service and never had one die yet. The jacket is now just a regular jacket and I doubt I'll bother doing anything about it. To be fair, my wife likes to wear hers in a house that's already 70 degrees...so I guess there's that. On a side note, the wiring in the heated gear activates the capacitive touch screen when I put my phone in the breast pocket and constantly pauses whatever podcast I'm listening to. Anyone else have that happen?

I recently took a job working construction when I moved back to Upstate NY. Working in conventional, bulky winter gear is exhausting. With a toddler at home and a new baby on the way, I can't afford to buy one of these - despite the fact that I stand at the store and stare longingly at them. It sure would be nice to come home a little more energized and a lot more warm. I'll think of you all everytime I pop in a new battery and get nestled in with my little boy and newborn baby... and my wife... and my pets. I'd better grab some extra batteries.

Thats fine for construction. What I've been swooning over is the ability to downgrade the layers for when I'm riding my all year motorcycle to my construction site jobs. Sound a little over the top? Yes it is. Its just the way I must et there as its my only transportation bit the bike itself is made for the all-weather climate and Performance. Sadly I'm made for lesser of a climate. Eiter way these jackets are still on my radar Moreno now after watching this. The whole set is VERY EXPENSIVE in my area. Good atleast to see they may be worth it after all. MAN I WISH I WAS IN TIME FOR THIS RAFFLE!!! I really need that extra warmth on the site but on the way to the site all the layers I wear now almost keep me from being able to actually utilize my control on saud motorcycle ESPECIALLY in our routine north east climate. Atleast now I know its worth it should I scrape together those funds!! Thanks for the excellent review as always... should u have an extra set for a giveaway, I will open mouth kiss the butchest dude of ur choice at a chance to win them, and may I admit, that IS completely against my personal sensual persuation- although I'd do it for the gear .... Let's get this going fam! If not, thanks for the review either way! I enjoyed the satire! Here's to your whole team! Thanks for the laughs!!! Oh, and I was serious!

What a real gentleman. Sounds like he really deserves some sweet swag huh? Hook it up!! I jest. I left this comment and the comment before. Im only looking to increase my chances. As much as I'd hate it- I'd still open mouth kiss a burly dirty construction dude of your choice should it sweeten the pot and so its said again- I would hate eery second. Just trying to sweeten the pot and put some skin in the game. Keep up the great vids. Maybe next time ill be more on time to the relevant videos im so interested in. Id swooned over these sets I saw in home depot for atleast about 4 months now.... good luck to me I guess?

As a commercial refrigeration service tech I need one of these to keep me from freezing inside of walk-in boxes no matter how much I layer up in jackets I'm never able to keep my core warm enough and end up having to take breaks after a few hours when my hands get to the point where I can't even grip something, core gets cold blood flow slows, blood flow slows and hands begin to freeze faster this jacket would be a complete life saver and used year round not just the colder months

I wonder if this guy realizes that .many people will look at this thumbnail and in bold it says not to buy this....they will stop right there....this is terrible advertising

Hey! “This guy” here. My 25 years in advertising and that 219k views (and still climbing) says you’re wrong. A customer that makes a $200 purchase based on one thumbnail they scroll pass, doesn’t exist.

Stupid. Stupid. Stupid! I love you guys, you're writing sucks! Hire a writer or stop trying. You both are great and deliver the jokes good, but the jokes are BAD. Interviews are great. The project presentation is great, but the jokes are not funny. Here's feedback... It's not good, but it's feedback. Take it or leave it.

You do! And you'll find a notice at the beginning of any sponsored content. This wasn't, which is why there was no notice. Sarah and I both wear heated jackets every winter, and are quite fond of the Milwaukee jackets.
