Hailing from the abysmal forests of the mystic North, Belzebubs has possessed a stealthy, cult status throughout their existence. Originally summoned together in 2002, the band has succeeded in creating a thrilling blend of melodic black metal, guttural growls and vivid solos, forged with progressive twists and cinematic soundscapes. Accompanied by a new drummer and a three-record-deal with Century Media, Belzebubs finally feels fit to take on the (under)world.
“Blackened Call” is the band's first single, taken from their upcoming debut album, scheduled for a February 2019 release. It was mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö, who's also responsible for the sound of Dark Funeral’s The Secrets Of The Black Arts, Dissection’s The Somberlain and many more.
“Blackened Call” will be available on all streaming and download platforms as a digital 2-track single and as a strictly limited 7inch vinyl (500 copies worldwide), available at www.cmdistro.de, www.emp.de and www.backstagerockshop.com, on June 29th, 2018.

The band members are apparently anonymous but this is 100% Niilo Sevänen on vocals. I wouldn't be surprised if this band WAS Insomnium. Vocalist also plays bass guitar just like Niilo. Band is Finnish just like Insomnium. Same record label as Insomnium. ...Yeah I think we found what Insomnium did after Winter's Gate guys lol.

Finally someone with a common sense. This is definitely Niilo on vocals and this is weeping melodeath style exactly like Insomnium. La verdad, felicito a CMR por tomar la iniciativa con esta banda, el autor de los dibujos de Belzebubs me encantan y que lleven una banda animada, me causa mucha curiosidad. Sin embargo, cabe destacar que la banda tiene muy buen instrumental; combinando música seca y potente como lo es el black metal y a la vez, un sonido muy melódico, rápido, donde hay momentos donde llegan a impresionar con algún toque sinfonico (un poco parecido al sonido de Borknagar). As a fan of BM since the mid 80's i must say i love this, sure its more blackened melodic death metal than pure BM but damn i love it, and if you as BM fan cant get it might i suggest you get a sence of humor, couse this is how we kids of the 80's and 90's that listened to bm where... and some still are.
